First of all we are well travelled holidays maker that travel many place all around the world over decades with all different stars and level of services. Base from all this experience. There are so many things wrong in this hotel! Start from first day arrival: Long queue at the reception when we arrive at about 19;30 no welcome drinks no greeting at the front desk. they only have 3 receptionist. After the administration we received only 1 room key and told to get another one next day as they don't have enough key card. No key next day as they don't have more. The room: Absolutely disappointing, dark inside, rusty mirror, broken cupboard and lots of mossy. Took me 90 minutes to clear it. No amenities as show by Melia app pictures which is false advertising. See Pictures. Complain to reception and told us to come back next evening to get a better room so at least they did that. A much better room but still basic amenities. First night to the buffet: Mediocre the best. No fresh juices. They use syrup mixture. Coffee and tea you have to queue to get it yourself and queue everyday. Most important thing is you can't even allow to get bottle of still water unless you are level guest which is the VIP version. You are allowed to get a glass of sparkling water instead which make no sense. If you want water they will give you tap filter water which taste full of chemicals and metal. On holidays we always should be consuming bottle water and not local tap water as standard guidance. They don't even have this simple practice and call themselves luxury. Food also cheap, simple salads, deli meat, pasta. Mostly very blank, they do change daily style but 3 stars the most. 2nd day, first Breakfast: Chaotic queue everywhere, you have to queue for tea, coffee expect 10 to 15minutes. Same salad and deli but the most important station is egg. Huge queue every day, expect 15 to 20 minutes wait. There is no management here, staff do what they want it seems. The Breakfast serve till 10am and our friend when to get some fried egg at 9:45 and told 15 minutes wait then told is now closed. They don't prepare egg in advance which I don't even understand why the most important station so congested and no one there to help. A simple changes to prepare more fried eggs and put it in a heated pan is sufficient and they don't even do that as they know hundreds of guests is waiting for it daily. By the time you get your egg, all your food on the plate already cold as they put the egg station right at the end of all food stations. Who ever manning the station also have no urgency what so ever. Tea and coffee easy fix with filter coffee and premade tea pot and just add water, no fresh juices in this hotel even for their cocktail bars. No good quality drinks. Lunchtime foods simple 3 stars nothing special! look like much better experience as coffee and tea are not serve in the buffet area, you get it at any bars after. And of
