Hotel Santo Domingo dengan Spa

I had a wonderful stay, the concierge, Fanyelis and housekeeper Olga did an excellent job of helping my sisters surprise me! I truly appreciated it! Alexis was also great in helping us cross the busy street and even giving walking directions to local places. The pool area was wonderful not huge but great for the space and a lot of seating available.

The hotel is beautiful and this is our 6th visit but the reception staff are appalling. They have zero customer service tranining and are rude and nearly everyone we spoke to at the pool informed us they had the same issue. The problem is management have been aware of this for a long time but still ignore their customers and with my latest complaint I was informed that the Hotel Manager was angry with me for making the complaint which is sad. They also couldn't find our booking which cost a few hours of messing around with the management staff who are quite incompetent.

The hotel is very nice, had good entretainmment shows at night, excellent service, very very good breakfast, the cost of the food is normal, not expensive, the zone is safe, a lot of small resstaurants near by.

During my recent stay at Intercontinental Santo Domingo, I was truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality and service. The experience was nothing short of outstanding, and I feel compelled to express my gratitude. I also must commend the general manager, Mr Sebastian, who goes above and beyond by personally welcoming guests at breakfast and the attentiveness and ability to remember preferences are truly impressive. The food quality is exceptional, though I would suggest adding cooked legume dishes to the breakfast menu to cater to vegetarian guests.

Personalized service, excellent always with the client's best interest in mind. As the elevators are small, employees would get out of the elevator and walk up or down in order to follow Covid rules.. Breakfast buffet had a huge variety which slightly changed from day to day. Dinner menu is varried and the food fresh and well prepared. Premises are clean the room I had was spacious. Pool on the roof isn't anything to write home about but it's available. I personally found that pool/bar area a little tacky and the drink low quality and expensive. The gym area is outside the building and not the best. I used to stay at another big name hotel, I will go back to the W&P for sure. It was really good value.

Suite à une erreur commise à la réception, j’ai bénéficié d’un surclassement, qui m’a permis de découvrir les étages premium de l’hôtel. Les chambres ne se distinguent pas beaucoup de celles des autres étages. Mais le service du roof top est beaucoup plus personnalisé, la vue est superbe. J’ai beaucoup aimé l’expérience.

Short trip with the family, we made the decision to stay at the Crowne Plaza. Best decision ever! Beautiful hotel and the service was exceptional. The complimentary breakfast is a must! Our waiter Jose Manuel was the absolute professional offering the most dedicated and courteous service. Loved it! Will definitely come back to this gorgeous hotel!😊

I would like to leave a review about the hotel Renaissance Santo-Domingo. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really delicious. Visiting of Lounge zone was included in the price of our room. All snacks there also were delicious. One evening there was national dominican cuisine, so we could also taste it. The staff there also were very nice, especially Ernesto and Yanifer. They were very attentive, always ready to help and made us feel at home. They spoke English better than anyone else in the hotel .

I was excited at the reviews from others, but it didn't live up to our expectations, unfortunately. The property looks great, has been mostly updated, and is well maintained. We had a terrace executive suite on the 3rd floor with a hot tub. However, there were several issues. Room: Water pressure is low and barely gets hot. I asked the front desk to look into the water pressure and nothing was done or followed up on. Due to the construction next door, it was very noisy from 8:45 am (even on Saturday), which also eliminated any privacy on the terrace. There's no sound insulation so we heard every person and conversation happening outside the room in the hallway. No face towels were provided. You have to ask for an iron/ironing board. They don't speak English so I had to walk down to the basement with the maintenance guy to find one, which we kept in the room. Staff: Slow, unattentive, has difficulty with closing out checks. We waited for at least 10 minutes every time we wanted to close a bill. You have to get up and find them to order, etc. They don't monitor the dining room or rooftop bar sufficiently to check on you. Property: Well-positioned to walk to a lot of restaurants, etc. The gym is horrible. It's the size of a bathroom and contains a bike with a fan-operated by a battery, which wasn't charged, a broken treadmill, one medicine ball, and free weights. Rooftop bar & Pool: Some nights movies are projected on a large silkscreen. The pool has no shade whatsoever. There are a few lounge chairs with no more than 2 umbrellas. Prepare to get burned. They don't have consistent policies for parties, closing and noise. One party was allowed to go until 2 am and we had to endure every conversation still taking place well after 2:30. I wouldn't stay here again.
