Beautiful place. Very quiet, calm & serene. The staff are just fantastic and can't do enough for you and we even had a lovely chat with the owner who has a villa on the site also. They have golf carts that take you and your cases to the Villa and to the car park (defo need a car to stay here but that was cheap and meant we got to see all of the island). We stayed in the premium villa with our own small infinity pool which was lush. 100% recommend this place and would definitely go back without hesitation.

This hotel is not where it claims to be. It actually suited us fine to be away from everything but you need to know this. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms and decor need an upgrade. The issue is management. Everything you need to know, we found out within 5 minutes. We had arranged transport from the port through the hotel. There was nobody there and we were forced to take a public bus, dropping everybody off first, noting how far away this was, for double the already steep price. I was in contact with them at this time and expected some kind of apology when we arrived. Instead were told in no uncertain terms that it was our fault. The owner then arrived (imagine basil faulty by the sea) and explained to us that he GPS and he can track his driver and his driver was there. We explained that the whole point is not just to be there but to hold up a sign that shows our name or the hotel and that it is very much in our interests to meet this and take us to the hotel instead of being scammed and waiting hours and missing our first Santorini sunset. He again explained about GPS and maybe I don't know what it is because I'm from Africa. I explained to him that you should respond to your email or maybe call me to find out where I am if a driver is there. Basil didn't appreciate any of this and we somehow managed to negotiate not paying for the service he didn't provide but still maintaining it's our fault that we missed sunset. When we went for dinner, this guy is sitting at the best table and getting all the waiters to fuss over him at the expense of his guests. There were many other small things but you get the idea when a guy like this running things how bad it can be
