very friendly staff, very clean rooms although the bathrooms are a little behind. And the pool needs a thorough clean up to my opinion. But overall a nice remote stay near Messines with all the help you need from the staff. Muito obrigado.

The balcony view is fabulous. A great place to relax and listen to the birds. The recent rains made everything verdant and lush. Our room overlooked the valley and was adequate for our one night stay. We had dinner at the guesthouse and like other reviewers found the food to be just ok. The one night staff heats up casserole type dishes. We had the vegetarian lasagna and baked cod which was like risotto. The salad was lettuce and tomatoes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.

A very pleasant place to stay! Spacious and clean room, very comfy bed, excellent breakfast, helpful staff (they helped us find a walking trail), laundry service. The view from the balcony is charming. There is an outdoor pool, but it was too cold to use.

Couldn’t fault anything about this guest house. It is a little remote- around 10 mins taxi from the closest village but if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful place, this is perfect. We didn’t realise that there was the option of an evening meal so it was great when this was offered on arrival. A delicious meal for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was fresh and tasty too. Pool area clean with lovely views. Room very clean and comfortable. Overall a lovely stay!

Wouldn't recommend. After reading so many amazing reviews I decided to come here with my mother before going to Lagos. The view is great but... To begin with there is one girl who is in charge of everything. She is lovely and I must say I admire her for her courage but she needs help. The rooms are spacious but very dark. There is no window just the front door that has a window in it. There is no water nor coffee or anything in the room. The rooms aren't clean, in the chest of drawers there is hair and dirt. The dinner in the evening is very poor. We went for the salad option with starters and dessert. I had eggshell on my plate and a hair as well. For dessert its just 2 scoops of ice cream. I know its only 15 euro for the menu but it's not worth it. There are not enough sun tanning beds at the pool... for the price they are asking I expected way more and if I could have cancelled my second night I would.

Our second stay in this quiet getaway along the Via Algarviana. We stayed here for 4 nights in October. Nice authentic clean rooms and great staff. Breakfast with local products.

This was my 4th stay at Vale Fuzeiros Guesthouse, i totally disliked opposite to the other 3 since i was given a room inside the main building which door was located 1 meter from the reception desk ,1 meter, from the main door ,and just 2 meters from breakfast and living area (where people can watch tv and play games) and kitchen ,no privacy ,you can listen to every noise, absolutely unthinkable for a nature guesthouse or for any kind of hotel , i was very disappointed, this should be mentioned when booking, that the room is located inside the main house and not in the outside ... Hated it , could hear guests doing check in 1 meter from my room and when i confronted the receptionist on dutie i was told that check in was only during daytime...So what? 83euros include listening to the phone ring and people checking in? Besides all this ,the pool is great if you are with 5-6 people ...Besides that forget it ,its impossible, no place to sit or laying down its more like a pool of a house...Management should rethink all this and create a bigger pood area where every guest of the 9 rooms can use the pool without having to wait that another guest leaves so that there is a free space from the ONLY 6 laying chairs...

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay and I wish I could have extended my holiday there. The place is in the middle of the nature and has a wonderful view. My room had a huge terrace and inside it was beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast was rich and fresh. The girls were very friendly and helpful - a dream team! I Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for peace and relax.

Excelente surpresa! Staff super simpático. Agradável pequeno almoço. Cama confortável e vista deslumbrante. O bolo de chocolate é fantástico. Não tínhamos jantar, estava a chover e sem vontade de sair. Prepararam-nos uma pequena refeição com toda a simpatia!! A melhorar: a temperatura da água do banho.
