That's not a National Geographic photo on your bedroom wall, that is your window and you would be forgiven if you didn't want to leave your room for the duration of your stay... but you will because the smell of fresh baked croissants and fresh squeezed orange juice will beckon in the morning. Antonio is a superstar manager with a maturity and confidence beyond his years and he was available for anything we could possibly ask for. The rooms are designed in a Scandinavian minimalist design which could be a little spartan for some (no TV, no high tech gadgetry) but we loved the elegance and simplicity. There is a small pool outside and some chairs for lounging and a living room that feels like you are home -- if your home was a five-star wine country property. Outside your nearly private villa (only 3 rooms) you will be in the heart of the Douro Valley and some of the most beautiful settings on God's Green Earth. Enjoy this place if you are luckily enough to get a room, once more people find out about this gem of a property, you will be on the other side of the window looking in!
