We stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour in August 2022. The hotel is a small drive out of the old city and the hotel is relatively new. Check-in was relatively quick and you can have some fun on the swings they have in the lobby. There are two stairwells in the hotel, so Reception will tell you which one to take to get to your room. Our room was at the end of the corridor and was nice and large. We had twin beds which were both big and comfy and everything was clean and tidy. Our room had plenty of space, a flatscreen tv, desk and chair and you can also see that the design was made to look as though part of the room had been built on. The bathroom was also large, with a big shower, nice fluffy towels, and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was very good - a good selection of hot and cold food. Plenty of juices, hot drinks and fruit etc. There's a spa and pool that you can use if you want to - we arrived late so just before it closed. The rooftop bar has great panoramic views (see the photo). Overall, I really liked this hotel and so did my friends.

Presidential is an understatement for this superior, modern hotel in the heart of Sarajevo’s attractions, restaurants and pedestrian streets. Our Overseas Adventure Travel tour group was assigned to this hotel. The tour company could not have made a better selection. The room I occupied overlooked the river and the base of a mountain range. The room is beyond spectacular, especially considering less expensive rooms are generally assigned to tour groups. The bathroom features an entire glass wall with curtains to close for privacy. But why? Many of the rooms overlook a busy street and the river. Besides, who’d want to look at a 71-year-old geezer shaving?☺ Windows are insulated blocking cold and street noise. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and has all creature comforts. But beware of the minibar prices. There are small grocers nearby that sell wine for about 6 euros. Buffet breakfast was included for tour group members, so I don’t know if there’s a separate charge for other guests. The hotel staff are amazing and courteous. If only Orlando area hotels could learn from Hotel President Sarajevo.

I consider myself as experienced traveler and this was the best hotel I have stayed in. Every single thing was planned in detail and delivered in perfect- best quality food, amenities in a hotel and the kindest people- reception, cleaners, kitchen crew. Thank you for this amazing experience. Definitely planning to come back.

A great little hotel. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A major big point is the fact the breakfast were incredible. So much choice, and for me I ate so much I didn't need any lunch. Breakfast was simply amazing. The hotel is situated on a hill so with lugguge I recommend a taxi if traveling from the tram stop. However overall amazing stay

This hotel was built for the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics and I doubt it’s been renovated since . It has a fascinating History and a Grand Lobby Area. I had to move rooms because my first room stunk of cigarette smoke even though on a non smoking floor. It also had no towels or toilet paper . The room was full of dark wooden furniture. The bed was comfy. The bathroom is small and very dated. There’s no AC in the room although you can open the window. Lots of rules written in the room, eg No takeaway food to be eaten in the room . The room was reasonablyclean . The included breakfast was not the best. Stale croissants and cold food . Bosnia Herzegovina is a beautiful country it would be great if realisation about their tourism assets occurred and they could make the most of their tourism assets and provide great choices for tourists .

The hotel is generally clean, safe and very suitable for a comfortable holiday. The breakfast menu is quite good. Eating at the hotel restaurant is not expensive. All these are the positive aspects of the hotel. However, they keep your passport hostage at the reception and do not want to give it to you until you leave the hotel. I have no idea how they can cover any damage to the passport. and actually a great irresponsibility for the hotel. But they don't even care. Finally, it is very absurd that they ask for a fee at check-out for the water in the room.

Stayed 2 nights at the Swissotel Sarajevo. The hotel is very modern, new and luxurious. I particularly love the room design, very spacious, chic and yet functional. The bathroom is designed to suit the modern travellers in mind, a huge standing shower with rain shower, 2 vanity top and a separate WC with a vanity as well. There are 2 huge wardrobes and many other compartments for storage. Very generous in size and space. The bed is very comfortable adorned with a good bed linen. A good size of flat screen TV and mirror fronting the bed. At the bay window, there are cushions so you can sit, relax and enjoy the views over the city or mountains. The hotel is located in the junction of the ”Sniper Alley” and it is adjacent to a modern shopping mall. Old town of Sarajevo is just a comfort 20 mins walk away. The breakfast is the only let down. The spread is limited and the taste is very blend. Otherwise, it is definitely one of the best hotels in the city be it for leisure or business travellers.

As a very experienced traveler with about a 100 hotel nights/year I usually let my destination hotels know my room preferences - not cadging for an upgrade but simply making my wishes for room location, floor and view direction clear. I always do that initially during the reservation process and to be on the safer side I send 1 or 2 emails to them ahead (front desk and/or reservations). When arriving at the hotel after a long journey you are, of course, at the mercy of the hotel. And here it promptly came: the rooms on my preferred floor and with my preferred direction were ”all occupied”. The explanation that despite my reservation request and more 2 reminders by email they had not acceded to my preferences was that they had a different ”policy” (so to say a sequence) in allocation of rooms regardless of the guests' advance requests... Strange. Being at the front desk at their mercy teeth grindingly I had to take another room not really serving my clear preferences. But after that uselessly disappointing arrival experience I must concede that - except for this ridiculous room allocation ”policy” - the room was perfectly appointed, the staff exceedingly helpful, attentive, pleasant plus speaking numerous languages, the breakfast was well assorted and apart from that strange ”policy” the stay was altogether very pleasant. So if you have strong room preferences (and again: no upgrades cadging meant) you will most like flounder on their ”policy”, which they sadly only reveal to you upon your arrival, but if you don't mind they are a very good choice.

We were placed here overnight by the airline due to a cancelled flight, so I don't have any comment about prices. It was a very pleasant short stay. Very large and clean room and bathroom. We had complimentary dinner in the rooftop restaurant that rotates and served a set menu, but it was good. The service was quite slow, not sure if that's usual or because there were a number of people off the plane that were there. Breakfast also complimentary in the rooftop restaurant and buffet style. They have a shuttle to and from the airport and I'm not sure if it's free or not, the airline also would have covered that. There's a small spa facility with excellent prices - 60 minute massage for €26

We were looking for a hotel last-minute and found Old Town Hotel online with great reviews on Google. We talked to the incredibly friendly receptionist, checked out the clean room and decided to stay. The receptionist helped us to park pretty much right outside the hotel in the city center. We realized we were parked just feet away from the spot where Franz Ferdinand had been assassinated. Terrific and convenient location close to city center restaurants, shops, and historic sights (including right outside our bedroom window.) Quiet and comfortable overnight stay.
