Overall would say that the hotel is OK. The staffs are also OK. Only one lady staff that speaks English. It's not a problem can still use phone translator. Room is big and spacious, with a very nice view facing the hills. Everything is OK with the room except for the shower. They should do something about the shower. Hairdryer is very good. Breakfast can be obtain from a shop opposite the hotel (come out turn left and cross the street) just a few shops away from the hotel, selling very good Chicken Murtabak and also Egg with Banana Roti Canai. Location of hotel is perfect. There is ample car park behind the hotel. There is an entrance to the hotel from the car park. There is also a mini mart right next to the hotel on the right. Overall would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location with quick access to every available beach on the island. Inside, the hotel provides all the amenities you might need for a comfortable stay: a cooling pool, an excellent breakfast with several options, also free both ways transfer from/to the port. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Check-in was very smooth, and the girls at the desk are very hardworking with smiles on their faces; they were happy to assist with everything. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious, the restaurants were close by. There family rooms were amazing. Very up market place. I would definitely stay there again and refer friends and family. We enjoyed our stay. I give the hotel 🛏️🛍️ five stars.

Great big room with hot shower and the greatest matress. We loved the bed. Unfortunately no water kettle or hot water for coffee or tea.
Stuff is super friendly and helpful, they helped us with laundry service and transportation.

Amazing location, clean estate and great service by the team. Literally facing the beach and close to the pier and walking street. Enjoy the fresh sea catches and barbecue in the evening. They have happy hour from 4pm to 8pm during our stay in Aug 2023. Choose the Villa option as it’s slightly higher but worth the price for the stay and location.

We were met at the pier by one of the hotel team members who carted our luggage all the way to the hotel. Check-in was a bit odd as there is no front desk so everything is done at the bar. Our unit was at the very back of the resort, backing the kitchen which was very noisy first thing in the morning and woke us up every morning. It's definitely dated and could use some updating. The mini fridge in the unit worked but was literally falling apart and we had a mess of rusty water a few times. Safe in the room didn't work for us. Tons of mosquitoes early morning and at dusk so make sure to bring or purchase good repellent and the coils for the front deck area if you plan to sit outside. No pool but the snorkeling right out front of the resort was really good when we were there. We were told by the owner that throughout the year the visibility and water will change, so although we had perfect water, it won't necessarily be like that in a few months. Some of the fish are a bit aggressive so careful of that. One bit me hard enough that it broke the skin surface and I was bleeding. The beach chairs were nice as well but get taken up pretty quickly. Beach towels were available at the bar. The free breakfast was ok but the coffee was often only lukewarm. Tons of flies flying around the bar area so best to try and get a table nearby to eat at. We had lunch a couple times from the resort and it was pretty good. They brought it right to our table on the beach. Main busy area isn't too far of a walk down the beach. Out of the 7 islands we visited in Thailand, Lipe was the most unfriendly we found as well as the most expensive.

Saya bangun dengan rasa mual di tengah malam, tetapi perkhidmatan hotel masih dalam talian Mereka segera datang untuk mengaturkan kami menukar bilik, ke bilik deluxe taman Terdapat sedikit kebocoran, tetapi ruang keseluruhan dan hiasan telah digantikan dengan yang baru. Ia masih ok, dan mereka telah ditukar untuk kami pada keesokan harinya. Apabila kami tiba di suite pemandangan kolam renang dengan akses ke kolam renang, tiada tikus di kawasan itu, jadi bilik itu keseluruhannya okay. Kualiti air laut di pintu masuk hotel ini sangat sederhana. Hanya berjalan beberapa langkah ke Salem dan Oktober dan ia akan menjadi sangat cantik. Hotel ini boleh ditempah dengan pemandangan kolam renang atau taman yang mewah. Jenis bilik lain tidak disyorkan! Bilik taman biasa terletak di sebelah daftar masuk, agak jauh dari tepi laut!

PPengguna TetamuApart from being almost on the beach itself, this place is a bit overrated as far as overall quality of certain aspects of their offer in services and amenities. Room is confortable, view from it is fabulous but…the pillows are horribly hard, woke up with a sore neck, the food at their restaurant is kind of ok if you choose Thai food but for American food, it is, let say, less than average, there are some choices that they scratch from their menu because they just don’t know how to cook it, simple thing bruschetta, club sandwich, breakfast is also pretty boring if you not Asian; cold and uncooked chicken sausages, cold chicken ham presented in cold water bowl, coffee is good though and toast are great, I ended up eating that only…last déception, beach access from beach front villa number 2 you need to walk about 200 meters right to the marina entrance or 200 meters left to the restaurant to get access to the beach that is about 20 meters right in front of your room. There is a concrete wall, high of about 1.6 meters that separates you from the beautiful white sand beach. See photos attached…

PpiasureeAbsolutely amazing location. We’ve stayed in beachfront bungalow, spacious, clean, comfortable bed, had everything in the room more than we needed. There were indoor shower and outdoor shower, separated doors to go in room, through the front door and another directly to the bathroom (in case we came in from swimming all wet and covered with sand), so we did not dirty our room. Cold towels and fresh welcome drinks when we’ve checked-in, polite and friendly front desk staffs. When we’ve entered the room, it was cool with some aroma that made us feel relax. The breakfast was great, many choices of Thai foods and changed everyday. Staffs go out of their way to make us comfortable and feel at home. Beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, quiet, we can swim and snorkelling there. Walking street was near, we’ve walked there everyday, sometimes just for have some iced tea and thai pancake (Thai Banana Roti). Take a boat trip, it’s worth doing! Definitely recommended this hotel! Staffs are the best!

The price looked good and it had good reviews on another travel site so I decided to give it a go for one night, then figure out what to do next. I would have stayed longer but another really hard to book resort opened up. I decided to extend my island visit and came back here for my last day. Everything looks new and clean check in was a breeze. I booked one of the bungalows with air conditioning and has a little deck with table and chairs plus a hammock to relax. You do have to walk along the beach to get here. It's just a few minutes walk to the walking street entrance where most boats drop off. There are restaurants and bars for on the sand experience an even shorter walk away (monkey bar has fire dance show daily) My only complaint was power plugs are not next to the bed as I was here on a worcation. This really isn't a place people go to work so it won't matter to most but figured I'd call it out. I suspected it was the case based on the photos on agoda.

PPengguna TetamuWe found everything we had hoped for in our Christmas getaway at Castaway Resort on Koh Lipe. Beautiful garden setting only steps from the beach. Amazing snorkelling right in front of the resort (but don't miss diving with Castaway Divers too). A lovely, attentive team takes great care of the resort and guests, we loved hanging out at the restaurant overlooking Sunrise Beach for hours on end. Castaway Resort quickly turned into our tropical home away from home for our 10 day stay. Super family friendly und unhurried atmosphere, even during their Christmas peak. We hope to be back! (We booked our stay+scuba diving directly via email and their fabulous reservations team handled everything perfectly, including our minivan/boat transfers).

SSam_HoustonEvery once and a while you enter a property that transports you to another plane—certainly physically, more than likely emotionally, and possibly even spiritually.
Serendipity delivers on all fronts. The ocean-view villa made me pine for loved ones, as I initially felt guilty for experiencing such a property by myself. I imagined my folks opening the shuttered windows and gazing out at the sunrise each morning. I wished my niece and nephew were sitting on the villa-wide balcony, keeping me company. Yet as the days passed, I fell comfortably in love with being alone in such a magnetic space.
Steps from the most intimate, private stretch of Sunrise Beach, Serendipity balances up-scale bohemia with laid-back sophistication.
The owner, fortunately, is also a chef—noted in each dish served. Welcoming and gregarious, he was approachable without being overbearing.
Honeymoon—yes. Intimate anniversary—absolutely. Elderly parents—possibly a challenge due to the inclined stairways. However, anyone healthy should be able to navigate the surroundings easily.
Low season was a dream…

PPengguna TetamuStayed 4 days 3 nights. Dream beach and best view. The bay is the best and most beautiful from all 4 beaches on Lipe. The rooms are spacious and modern. Seems renovated a few months ago. Buffet is alright and reasonable for the price. House keeping seems understaffed or they do not know when you are out of the room. If you sleep in, in the morning you get a basket with water and refreshments placed at your door. But seems they do not comeback later in the day to clean. We didn’t get any house keeping. On third day, had to ask twice until house keeping cleaning came. But everyone at hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Be careful not to leave the door or balcony open in afternoon and evening. There are many mosquitos around the bungalows due to the plants and they will immediately come in. Mosquitos only around the bungalows, not at the restaurant, cafe, beach. Location and beach is sill the best. We will come back.

TTravelswithTWe stayed in a bungalow room, which was spacious & lovely. A bit tired in places but that is expected I guess in these tropical climates. The bathroom is very spacious & nice. The staff were very helpful, smiling & lovely. Right on the beautiful beach, easy short stroll from your room.
Breakfast was a la carte style with a small menu but the simplicity works with the setting & breakfast views are amazing.
The pool is a good size however by the afternoon was quite full of bugs/plant debris, which was off putting. Also beware of lots of mosquitos come sunset time (around pool & in room)
I haven't given high mark for facilities as its fairly basic /small resort. Main amenity is the pool. The bar restaurant closes at 6pm. No play area for children (though staff are really friendly towards children & welcoming).
Overall its a small simple resort, on a lovely beach with lovely welcoming staff. Nice place to relax & unwind.

PPengguna TetamuI came during low season with no expectation of what to expect from this accommodation due to the fact that there have not been any recent reviews. However when I arrived I was surprised because the villas were great! Check-in was very easy and then I was shown to my room and yes it was a small room but it was comfortable and the bed was enormous over 2 m! The villas are really close to the beach as well so you can walk from your room to the beach and be in the water in less than a minute. The staff are very friendly but not intrusive so they keep to themselves and do not annoy you either. They replenished the room daily and keep the place very clean. Location is perfect as well. When I’m back on the island I’d definitely choose to stay here again.
