It is a beautiful house and the history is heartwarming. The staff are friendly and very welcoming! The family room is nicely decorated especially the hand painted scenes on the walls. It was too bad that the price typically for a four star hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, was a “basement” small room. I felt like a degraded servant robbed. One of the innkeepers told the story that “there are no basement in Savannah but ice room”. It was not a general sized “ice room” like formal days. We heard drunkards fought and argued on the street level near the “ice room” basement for a few hours. The location is great for exploring the area. The park at front of the house is calming. It is a house to stay if you want to experience a little 150 year old history. Make sure you know which room you are given for what your $.

Recently stayed at The Alida and hosted a large corporate event at the rooftop bar/ballroom. This hotel is a true gem of Savannah! Everything was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond for us! Lucas Winters and Jessica Mathis made the booking process extremely easy and provided helpful & prompt responses to all of our questions while planning party details. Also, big kudos to the staff who took care of us and our clients the night of our event: Rachel, Lalo, Creed, Jay, Spencer, Jordan, and Drayton! Our clients and staff had a wonderful time and raved about the venue, food, beverage, and service. We look forward to coming back in the future and highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel for their next personal or business trip to Savannah!

Rooms are nicely appointed! Pool is one of the most gorgeous ones I’ve seen around the world. Pool bar has great snacks and drinks. While hotel looks like a insta inspiration. Hotels restaurant-St. Bibiana has great food. They have a super gorgeous private members club that’s also accessible to hotel guest. Plenty of delicious vegetarian friendly dishes for me. Drinks are great as well. Staff treats you like your family and makes you feel relaxed and welcomed. Hans, Grace, Jeff, Bella, CJ, chef Kate and Chef Derek gets a special shoutout. And GM of the hotel- Dhruv Who is doing a great job!

The hotel is located on the edge of the historic district, so it is a quick 10-15 minute walk to either River Street or even Forsyth Park. Even the standard suites are larger than most other similar properties. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were above average. All employees from the front desk to the breakfast servers and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly. Rated lower in the facility category as the outside landscaping by the sidewalks was **** filled and over grown. This really detracted from the exterior appearance. The fitness was large and has a good amount of cardio equipment but only had one, torn workout bench, no area/mats for core work and the hand weights were missing all 20lb and 25lb pairs. There should be other strength training options. The breakfast food options were presented in an attractive manner with good over all quality.

Perfect location in Savannah! Walking distance to restaurants, bars and so many historical locations! We stayed on the 4th floor room 413. We could feel the presence of the past! Maybe just in our minds but heard a voice greeting us once we entered our room! Staff at The Marshall House are exceptional! They were all Welcoming, informative and made us feel at home! The included breakfast was amazing - an excellent way to start the day. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be staying again!

What a lovely stay at Forsyth Park Inn. From the moment we arrived we were met with unending hospitality. There is nothing you could possibly want for. The amenities were excellent, i.e. wine and hors d’oeuvre hour, evening dessert and decaf coffee, breakfast to die for, and around the clock iced sweet tea/water. Having to deal with countless food allergies is often difficult. Dewayne made certain I did not have to fear getting something I should not. The location of the inn is perfect! It is located directly across the street from Forsyth Park and in easy walking distance to the river walkway. It is also located very near Enmarket Arena, if you are in town for a concert. I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages! The bed and pillows were amazing! They were comfortable and the linens smelled so fresh. There is not one negative thing to mention or suggestion of improvement to be made. We are already looking forward to another visit to Forsyth Park Inn. Thank you Gary, Lib, Dwayne, and Que, for making our time at the inn so enjoyable.

Die Zimmer bzw. das Apartment war super. Bessere Lage konnte man gar Nicht haben. Trip.com hingehen war schrecklich. Wir haben kein Zugangscode erhalten, obwohl es hieß das Hotel hat eine Rezeption. Wir mussten in ein Café laufen das wlan hatte um überhaupt die Buchung zu öffnen und dann den Kunden Service anzurufen der mich 30€ gekostet hat, weil ich aus der EU bin. Trip.com hat uns keinerlei Infos gegeben.

I was so pleased with everything about the Hampton Inn & Suites in the Historic District in Savannah. It was so conveniently located. Easy in and out if the city.
