Nach dem Umbau ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen an der Rezeption und an der Bar.

Preis und Leistung stimmt bei diesem Hotel, kann es immer wieder empfehlen. Wir übernachten dort immer auf der Durchreise vom süden in den Norden

Despite the mixed reviews here I booked what seemed the only highish-end 4-star hotel in Magdeburg, which also sports an in-house restaurant and is very conveniently located near to the A2 autobahn. Because of the intense heat, I drove and arrived early, but the receptionist kindly gave me early checkin at no extra cost. Everything about the hotel over which other reviewers seem to have complained I found to be misplaced, exaggerated, or has been fixed. For example, those who reported ‘worn carpets’ obviously did not examine them in any detail, because what they were really noticing was the actual design of the carpeting! The selection in the restaurant is maybe not huge, but certainly adequate for all tastes, reasonably priced and both tasty and filling (if a little over-salted). The rooms are nicely air-conditioned with individual controls that actually work. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms spacious and well equipped, and breakfast was also good (and included in the room rate). So overall, a very fine and relaxing experience.

We were traveling from Warsaw to Rotterdam and needed a overnight stop . This location was perfect close to the motorway. We had not pre booked , but the receptionist was very helpful and spoke per English. The room was spotless and provided space and other little extas. We ate in the restaurant, and although the menu was limited , there was enough choice and was very tasty. The staff again were very polite and the young gentleman spoke English which was very helpful. Breakfast again was plentiful with a mass choice for everyone , including a gluten free area ( for those). We enjoyed every bit of it and would stay again , but be warned it was not cheap but worth it . Maksim Kocura 02/02/ 23

Nice hotel but needs improvement. No AC in the room. Generally Saturdays and Sundays the bar and restaurant are closed. STAFF IS VERY GOOD AND GOOD COOPERATION. LOCATION IS VERY GOOD. NEAT & CLEAN HOTEL

good location near the autobahn, and perfect for a night. the room was nice and clean. parking just outside the hotel. If I need a place to stay another time near Magdeburg, I would choose this hotel again.

Tegenvaller. Helaas niet de naam “Marriot Hotel” waardig. Als tussenstop Hotel aangedaan. Maar zou hier zeker niet voor langere tijd willen verblijven. Het hotel ligt tussen de weilanden vlakbij de snelweg, die hoor je ook als je het raam open hebt. Er wordt je €5,- berekend voor parkeren. Ik begrijp dat als je in de stad zit, maar hier in de middle of nowhere…. Het ontbijt was redelijk uitgebreid, maar de kwaliteit laat te wensen over. Personeel was stug. Kamers rumoerig. Douche was in het bad wat stukjes emaille miste. Kamer was wel netjes en schoon.

Als politisch exponierte Person haben meine Eltern (gänzlich unbeteiligt) dort übernachtet. Obwohl sie offiziell 15 Uhr einchecken wollten, war das Zimmer 18 Uhr angeblich immer noch nicht gereinigt. Später dann stellte sich heraus, dass der Kühlschrank defekt war und eine Pfütze im Kühlschrank stand. Defekt war auch das Licht im Badezimmer. Außerdem: Uns wurde eine Badestelle empfohlen, die offiziell gar keine Badestelle war und ein Warnschild "Betreten auf eigene Gefahr" stand. An Boshaftigkeit und Unfreundlichkeit kaum zu überbietendes Reiseerlebnis. Ekelhaft. Im Osten nur Vollpfosten.
