I strongly recommend not to stay at kokoHotel Sendai Ekimae SOUTH. I had many problems during my long stay at kokoHotel Sendai Ekimae SOUTH on business travel. I feel that the quality of the manager, hotel staff and cleaning staff at kokoHotel Sendai Ekimae SOUTH is not high compared to many other hotels in Sendai city. It is common to find dust and hair in the rooms and mold on the bathroom and curtains. They do not properly inspect the rooms after cleaning and I feel that the management is not good. I have stayed there many times for work, but I have never felt that any of the rooms were clean. Some examples of problems that have happened to me are: 1) There were two times when the cleaning staff forgot to close the window that they opened when cleaning, and when I returned to my room late at night, the rain and wind blew into the room. 2) The drain pipe in the bathroom was clogged, and the toilet flooded twice in two different rooms. 3) The refrigerator connected to the wall was turned off twice, and the food inside spoiled. Since talking to the hotel side did not solve anything, I contacted the inquiry number of "Polaris Holdings Headquarters", the parent company of kokoHotel Sendai Ekimae SOUTH. The male employee who answered the phone did not confirm the situation at all and just said "We will not provide you with a room. We will refund your money, so please leave immediately. We will refuse accommodation at all our hotels in the future." So even though I had a reservation for a few days, I moved to another hotel. Even if a guest points out an incident that was due to the hotel's mistake, the higher-ups do not understand the situation and immediately refuse to let me stay, so I think it's only natural that kokoHotel Sendai Ekimae SOUTH's service is poor.
