Ulasan Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdaemun

One of the female hotel reception staff attitude is bad when she attended to our check in. Her tone was not friendly. The hotel room was okay for a triple room (3 single beds) for one night. The pillows and beds were soft. We stayed for few more nights in a room with king size bed and a single bed. Again, the pillows and beds were soft. There was a bath tub. The room was spacious and there was a small sofa overlooking the window area. The hotel location was conveniently located to Sungshin women’s university station. There were food retails and shops within walking distance. It was not was crowded as myeongdong but it was a good place to hang out at night. There was a very delicious steaming hot dumpling food outlet located very near the hotel. We tried the pork and shrimp dumplings. 8 for 5000 won. Worthwhile to try out.

It was a great experience in the hotel. You may ask for a bottle of water from the front desk Check it process is smooth and easy There is a microwave oven and a vending machine where you may purchase some tooth brush or snack Subway is near the hotel. Just walk one minute to the subway Recommended for the travellers who don’t wanna stay in the hot area in Seoul

The room was clean and decently big enough for a couple with 2 luggages. Some towels had slight stains, and we had to ask for new towels. There is a lively street market a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. Other than that, there is nothing much to do around here. But the location is very near the train station.

Location of the hotel is honestly great! - The Sungshin Women’s University train station was less than a minute walk away from the hotel - The airport limousine was also nearby. Probably less than 5 min walk, so going to and coming from the airport is a breeze - The hotel being in Dongdaemun, means that every other hotspot is just 20-30min train/bus ride away with minimal interchange. That includes Gyeongbokgung palace, Ikseondong, Insadong, Namsan etc. - There are a bunch of other shops like convenience stores , bakeries, cafes, fast food restos nearby in case you need something quick. ALSO there are a bunch of other restos/bars and photobooth stores that open late at night so you’ll never get bored tbh - There’s also a Twosome in the lobby! Besides location, staff is really friendly. We’ve talked to the people at reception a few times for recommendations and just general queries and they’ve been super helpful Also the housekeepers that clean the rooms really are thorough and they also greet you if you ever bump into them :) As for the rooms, they’re pretty standard. Beds were comfy, toilet was clean and quite spacious! I also loved that there is a mini sofa in the room. Also their sockets are universal, so you don’t actually need adapters~ Overall, we definitely enjoyed the stay! Since we were only there for one week, we wanted to minimise the travel time so we could maximize the time for actual sightseeing/shopping/eating and this location hit the spot!

Over priced, Receptionist guy was so rude. Location is near the bus stop and metro station. Not recommended.

2 friends visiting Seoul for basically the first time. Prices were sky high in city centre so we chose this which is a few stops away. Everything's great except for slightly not central enough (Seoul is massive!). Great English and service attitude , umbrella available in case of rain. The surrounding area near hotel is underrated. Some Michelin-guide-rated restaurants , probably the best we tried

The room is clean and well maintained. Its proximity to a subway station, which connects to numerous destinations, adds to its exceptional convenience.

Is near to train station. location is quite convenient, but around the place has lesser things to go-around. Olive young is just opposite the hotel.

Second time staying. The room is showing signs of ageing with the wallpaper coming off. It is still a comfortable room and close to subway station.

Nice location just near the train station and bus stop. Many restaurants near the hotel. Good service of the staffs.

Awesome stay at this hotel. Went there during Fall going to Winter season and the hotel is able to accommodate well! I requested for Air purifier, Fan and Iron and all is provided for free and at a fast service. The concierge speaks very good english so highly recommended for foreigners. They have good knowledge of the area too. The hotel is clean, might be slightly dusty in the air but the air purifier helps. For an allergic person like me, I’d say I’d come back again to this hotel!! MOST IMPORTANTLY 1 MIN AWAY FROM THE SUBWAY. And 20mins from Myeongdong. No regrets staying here. Love it 10/10

We very much enjoyed staying in this hotel. A few bus stops and a station is in a couple-minutes walk from the hotel. A lot of great cafes and restaurants are also within walking distance. It took us around 30 mins by bus to get to the center and all the shopping/night life activities. Very much recommended!

This hotel has great breakfast and the location is excellent
