Ulasan Hotel Blanc in Gangnam (Yeoksam)

I booked a room from October 3rd to 6th. When I arrived the first evening, I was honestly shocked by the smell of perfume mixed with cigarette smoke in the hotel corridors. And when I entered my room, there was a nauseating cigarette smell all over the room. I immediately opened the window wide to air it out as much as possible, but the window was tiny, so it was impossible to sleep in that room. I went back downstairs and asked for another key, and they gave me a second room that also smelled of cigarette smoke, though a little less. I opened the window and stepped out for a few minutes to air the room. At 7 a.m., I was lucky enough to be woken up by extremely loud and unpleasant construction noises. I had to sleep with my AirPods in because the hotel is right next to a construction site. I would say they still have a few more months of work, so avoid going there until then. As for cleanliness, it wasn't up to par either: greasy marks almost everywhere in the room, the sheets weren't perfectly clean, there were gnats in my room, and the floor wasn't very clean either. And please, forbid people from smoking in the rooms; it's horrible, especially since the windows are tiny. In short, this is a hotel to avoid.
