This is such a child friendly lodge! Enjoyed our stay alot. When we had an issue with our room they immediately moved us to another room. Food was excellent. Pool and activies also awesome. In general the vibe is just enjoyable allowing for a very great short family vacation.

Unexpectedly wonderful accommodation, comfortable and clean room. Warm and welcoming staff. Really good food, just look where you are and marvel at the logistics of how they can provide fresh and delicious food in the middle of nowhere. We had WiFi even in the furthest room from reception. Happy to stay there again.

Beautiful lodge offering great views and sunsets. The service on the other hand not that great. They are unorganised and slow. I was accommodated when I asked for a room change (thank you), the room I was given had a leaky shower and needed some good old maintenance. I can see this is not the standard as the room I had prior was not of that quality. The buffet wasn't that great. Luckily we only booked for one night. Honestly, I could have given this one a skip.

Beautiful lodge! There is a nice view to the dune mountains, and open areas where you can comfortably spot animals (for example, orix). Rooms are good, food is great (there are veg options as well). Sunset game drive was pleasent and unforgettable.

As expected of the Godwana collection. A lovely lodge. Very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are self guided trails. Plenty of birds to see. The food is good, standard. Cute gift shop. The e bikes weren’t operable unfortunately. It isn’t close to Soussevlei so this was a in between rest stop. If you plan to visit Soussvlei I recommend accommodation closer to the park entrance, so one won’t have to wake up an hour early and risk driving in the dark to get to the park.

Our time spent at this lodge was well worth the money. We booked for 4 nights. The manager Newman and assistant manager knows all about how to make their guests feel at home. We spent one night at the Dune Star lodge which is on the premises. Dune star gives you that exclusive experience to sleep out under the African sky with billions of stars looking down on you. We were served a free drink and snacks pre dinner. Dinner was 5 star and before the sweet treat was served we went outside for star gazing. This is a must to stay over at the Dune star it is a one night experience. The staff that looked after us was Sam, Nelson, Winnie and Fadel great team work to the point. I will most definitely visit again.
