Cerf Island Resort

A wonderful, relaxed resort. All the employees went out of their way to make sure our stay of 10 nights over new year 2024/5 was as pleasant as possible. Tomasa and Prakash run a smooth, discrete operation and take time to get to know their guests and sure their stay is extra special. Celia, Kenneth, Simon, Hailie and everyone in the restaurant & bar area were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. They really took a pride in offering in the superb service they offered. Buffet style breakfast and dinner over the busy Xmas & NY period and then a smaller menu selection in the quieter period after NY. Food was good, plentiful and presented with care. Always a choice of 3-4 dishes and as a vegetarian I had no problem with the selection available. Rooms were excellent, clean and well proportioned. The island is lush and green and it was rainy season whilst we were there with lots of heavy showers but also some beautiful sunshine. We needed lots of mosquito spray. One of our party accidentally tripped down a step whilst we were there and sprained her ankle, the resort staff couldn’t do enough to help and the wonderful buggy staff did a great job transporting her up and down to her room from the beach/restaurant for a few days, the boat guy took me over to the pharmacy and even waited around for an hour until they opened - thank you all so much. This is wonderful place to relax, unwind and kick back. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We visited on a lazy day package for a birthday celebration. The transfer was prompt and fast. The welcome of cool towels and sweet drinks was a nice touch. We took a buggy to the helicopter pad to admire the stunning views. For most of the day we enjoyed lounging by the pools & beach. Lunch was a fantastic highlight and the cocktails are delicious. We also enjoyed a beautiful birthday cake. We would highly recommend this lovely little resort for day or overnight. The whole staff team are so nice and that really makes a difference. Plus the views from the restaurant and pools are lovely.

The view is out of this world, so beautiful with the blue waters with all kinds colored fish. The bar attendants are excellent on their job, especially with cocktails, and friendly. Suri the spa attendant, oh my! She has healing hands, bless her.

We have loved our relaxing four night stay at the Cerf Island resort. Peaceful, romantic, Zourit Villa was a real treat. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Recommend Suri's wonderful spa treatments... just what we needed! Thank you for a great start to our Seychelles holiday.

The resort offered everything I expected from a tropical destination - an exotic ambiance, tranquil setting, and secluded, yet not isolated, location. All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The food exceeded my expectations, both during breakfast and dinner time. One of my favorite things ended up being the boat transfers on request to the nearby smaller islands, so there were plenty of places to explore during my stay. The villas are cosy, charming, and most importantly, comfortable (a canopy bed is always a great touch).

My husband and I stayed at Cerf for the first week of our honeymoon. The island really is a slice of paradise, so beautiful and tranquil. The staff at Cerf were absolutely brilliant and the service was friendly and personal, nothing was too much, and they even let me borrow some bite cream until I could buy my own! Prakash was absolutely excellent, letting us know of the available activities on the day we arrived, booking the trip that we wanted to do and arranging for the boat to take us to Eden Island when we needed to venture off Cerf. The rooms/cabins themselves were spacious and clean and contained everything you might need re. tea/coffee facilities. We booked a couple's massage with Suri and Erika (sorry if I've spelt either of those incorrectly!) which was complete bliss and money well spent. Overall the resort was quiet during our stay, although it is by no means a big commercial place anyway, and the perfect getaway we needed for our honeymoon. For those who like to be outdoors, we would recommend trekking across the island at low tide to view the beach on the other side. We would also highly recommend the Reef Tour with Mason's Travel with a stop at Moyenne Island to see the giant tortoises - such a great day out! The only things that were missing for us were that you had to pay to get wifi in the rooms and that the menu was not all that varied if you were staying there for more than a week. Dinner was a set menu that you had to choose from during the day but the restaurant would cook something from the main menu if there was nothing you liked. Otherwise, our stay at Cerf Island Resort was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet Island getaway for their holiday or honeymoon.
