I have so many complaints – this is my first time writing a negative review for a hotel. For what's supposed to be a rather upscale establishment, many basic facilities and services were severely lacking, which was truly disappointing. Here are the specifics: 1. **No Mini-Fridge in the Room:** This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where the room didn't have a mini-fridge, which is absolutely ridiculous. We had no place to store our own beverages. 2. **Lack of Service for Drinkware:** We wanted to have a drink in the evening. Upon check-in, the front desk told us to simply call for wine glasses. We called at 8 PM, only to be informed it was too late and they were closed. We were given 4 disposable plastic cups instead, which really dampened the experience. 3. **Incomplete Toiletries:** There was no conditioner among the toiletries provided. They couldn't even provide the most basic amenities. 4. **Self-Service for Takeout:** We had to pick up our own takeout. The reason given was that there was only one staff member on duty at night, and they didn't have the manpower to bring it up. This is clearly an issue with the hotel's staffing arrangements. It's 2025, perhaps consider robot delivery! The only positive thing I can say is that the front desk thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a better view for fireworks during check-in. However, this single positive doesn't make up for the numerous drawbacks. I sincerely hope the hotel can improve in the areas mentioned above.

Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is relatively high, and you can try Haichang again. But from the parking lot to the lobby, there is indeed a smell of decoration... just as rumored. The layout of the front desk seemed stingy. When I checked out, the entire front desk was gone and decoration started again, haha. The shuttle schedule is okay, but it fills up easily. For breakfast at the Penguin Hotel opposite, you have to wait in line. There are not many kinds of food, and the service is okay. It was also good to be able to sit next to the penguins later. The children's playground is not bad. You get a big penguin for free when you check in, which is quite nice.
