Although the hotel is located in a small, hard to find alley, it is located almost in the heart of the city, easily commute to anywhere. The staffs were friendly and very helpful despite, the language barrier (as they dont speak english well). You can leave your luggages there they will take care of it too. Overall. It was a great experience staying here, will sure be back. Mom loves it.

Plus: Good location: 10 minutes walk to East Nanjing Road and about the same to The Bund. Spacious room, has everything you need. There is tea, coffee machine and water in the lobby. Comfortable large bed - very good for two. Daily cleaning and clean room. Minus: The hotel is located in the courtyards and is not easy to find. The entrance is on a narrow path between the streets (see screenshot). It is clear that the hotel is a bit old and needs renovation. Very thin windows and therefore you can hear the air conditioner working all night, it prevents you from sleeping. One night there was a very strong smell of sewage, but then it disappeared.

Free laundry services and unlimited mineral water provided by Hotel!! Despite you need to pass through an alley to hotel, everything is above our expectations with this price range and location wise Photo attached as the fantastic view from our room

Located in a traditional Shanghai longtang neighborhood, the hotel is accessed by either of 2 lanes off of the main roads. The manager and the staff all provided top service, and assisted me with any questions or issues that I might have. The attendant or fuyuan was very attentive with cleaning and the stocking of supplies. Small room, but with everything that you would need; TV, desk, wifi, of course bed, and so forth. Location is only maybe 8 minutes from the Bund and 5 minutes from Shanghai Grandmother's restaurant. Small market store over on Guandong Rd. Price was very reasonable, and overall it was a very positive experience. I plan to stay again, in the future !!

Hotel indeed located in a back alley away from the main road. It can get real dark especially after sun set, i don’t recommend for single ladies coz it get scary. Condition of the hotel looks old, staff not friendly, furniture and fixture was run down. Room given was not very clean, had to do some cleaning up, the floor, wall etc was dusty. The staff was kind enough and asking if we want to change room, but the other room was around the same condition. So end up we didn’t change since we already done our own clean up.

The hotel bear the Nanjing Pedestrian but I recommended you take a bicycle because walking is a bit tired. The room was clean and has free laundry service. Let’s you apple map for tracking the location as the hotel is located into a small alley

We had a great stay at Home Business Travel Inn 🏡 🛏👌 📍The general location to the Yu yuan Garden metro station, The Bund and Nanjing Road is a 5-10min walk, which is excellent! However the hotel is in an alley, which can be a bit challenging to find and second guessing yourself before you reach the hotel. Though once reached it's a pleasant surprise. 🛌🧖♀️The room provides value for the cost. We had a good bed, tv, kettle & tea pot, shower amenities, hairdryer with complimentary water & tea. Without breaking the bank 💰. 👩💼🛎The staff is very friendly and quick to assist with any needs that you might have.

Difficult to find. It's in a back alley, but at least it's very central in the Bund. Bed linen felt clammy. Very thin walls. Could hear an alarm buzz every 15 seconds. Bed extremely hard

Location is close to the Bund with walkable distance. Hotel staffs are friendly and give good info. However, it is quite difficult to find the hotel as it is in small alley. There is no light at night time. Anyway, my opinion, it is worth for the price.

The hotel is located in a small alley, which may be a bit difficult for visitors to find because there is no sign at the entrance of the alley. There are enough amenities, however, the hotel entrance is inhabited on both sides by local residents so it is not clean.
