Ulasan MoYu Movie Hotel (Shanghai People's Square Nanjing West Road subway station)

Had a very interesting and enjoyable 4D3N stay. Check in was smooth and hotel was able to receive parcels for us and the collection of the parcels from the staff were a breeze. The movie themed hotel was also very eye opening for us as it was our first time staying here. The hotel lobby was decorated like a movie box office. There were also soft drinks and popcorn available free flow. The coffee machine and tea at the entrance of the hotel was also very thoughful. Drinking the coffee warmed our hearts during the cold weather. The hotel was also well located with eateries nearby and just a 5min walk to the main hipster huai hai road for shopping. The room was spacious and clean. There are also additional amenities that you can take at the hotel lobby. We also had fun playing with the different lighting in the room and the big projector screen really makes the room feels like you're in a movie theatre. The glass panels on the toilet and shower area however is a little translucent. It would be better if they could make it more opaque for privacy. Overall, we had a great stay here and will definitely come back again.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in Shanghai. The hotel is well located near the subway station and East Nanjing Road. The hotel is clean and organized. Delicious popcorn and free soda at check in. The staff are great. I had a problem and they fixed it quickly. Thank you very much for the 4 days stay.

This hotel is all about functionality. The location is optimum. The bed is very comfortable. Good value for money. I like it!

I like the idea of movie theatre so much! I went there on weekends before Halloween so the decorations also in Halloween theme. I booked a room without window and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all! The Air-conditioning worked well even in autumn. The curtain switches made me feel like being in theatre. A large TV can access to VIP WeTV so I watched Conan the movie in Chinese version, and had a cup of free popcorn from downstairs. Very good choice to stay here. However, since the location is a bit far from metro and it’s rainy a lot, I took Didi to everywhere. One more thing that should be improved is that the front of the hotel should have some slope for wheelchairs or luggage to go up easily. It’s so painful to move them upstairs, so heavy!

This is really worth it.Price is 3 star but service and facilities 5star especially the bidet and strong shower About 10 minutes to the metro station.Receptionist are very helpful even though we have to use Google Definitely we will stay here again if we are back.

love the hotel so much, especially the projector and sound system for movie in the hotel room, so amazing! they also provided free tea/ coffee and pop corn. The hotel staff is so kind to give us a free room upgrade. The only downside is the location a bit far from famous tourist spots like the bund, nanjinglu street etc.

It’s around 10mins walk from Huaihai Rd station exit 3, nearby to attraction. Hotel is nice and staff are friendly. Free popcorn and drinks too while waiting for room to be ready.

Good service, very nice room and the hotel is conveniently close to the metro station. Will book again when going back to Shanghai!

Nice boutique hotel and very friendly staffs. Next door have hotpot and Chinese bbq, walking distance to bars, family mart, metro station.

So fun. The entire place is themed like a movie theatre, and a great way to make low rise hotels work well. You’ll be on floor 2 or 3 - that’s it. But the rooms are great and the design is really fun. Projector works well, and the wall is actually covered with a proper reflective ‘silver screen’ for movie use. Projector has fairly loud fan to keep it cool so you’ll want the action movie volume up - soundproofing is actually good between rooms.

the best hotel in shanghai, close to metro and other places, the reception was very nice and helpful. Would definitely come back here again!!
