Hotel berhampiran Nicheng Revolution History Museum, Shanghai

21 April 2024 Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Heitang Hotel, No. 2879 Gongji Road, Huinan Town, Pudong New Area, hotel ini diperkenalkan dengan baik secara dalam talian. Tetapi apabila saya tiba, saya merasakan bilik itu tidak begitu besar. Kemudahannya agak lama, tetapi ia agak mudah untuk makan berdekatan. Terdapat juga tempat letak kereta. Ia mengambil masa kira-kira setengah jam untuk memandu lebih daripada sepuluh kilometer snek lewat malam, yang tersedia dari jam 9:30 hingga 11. Sarapan pagi juga boleh dihidangkan dari pukul 6 hingga 10 pagi. Overall okay, tapi saya tak ada makan malam, cuma pergi ambil gambar, jadi tak boleh makan.

因為地鐵沒趕上我又重新開了一晚上房間。因為第一天預訂也是看了好多評價定的。住了一晚上感覺不錯。房間乾淨衞生。很智能。200多的房間。智能窗簾。智能馬桶。還有智能音箱小度，可以控制窗簾開關，聽音樂，問天氣等等。洗澡熱水温度剛剛好，水壓也很大。空調温度合適。睡覺很舒適，緩解遊玩了一天的疲憊。服務也很好。有什麼可以諮詢前台。還有接送服務。附近離迪士尼也很近。打車。公交車都很方便。門口就有浦東51路。坐7站就到。下來走600米。去迪士尼或者迪士尼地鐵站都方便。下次再來玩會續住。

There is bus service to the airport and Disney it’s great!. The toilet have hot and cold water The room is clean. Location not bad, in front of hotel has bus to city.The customer service they cant speak English but them try to help.

The shuttle bus driver is very nice, he even waited and get out the bus walk to gate 29 to look for people who called him earlier and may have lost in the airport. After arrival, go to 3rd floor gate 29 where all hotel shuttle busses are there picking up people. It is 40 degrees outside so we did not get out and just ordered KFC and had it deliver to hotel. The staff shall use AI robot to deliver to my room however the front desk called me to pick up my order around 9 pm. The next morning I woke up around 8 am and found no bottle water left so I called front staff to deliver bottle water to the room, she said ok someone will send soon, however I waited over 10 mins still no so I just walked to the breakfast area to drink there. I like the fresh chicken soup rice noodle. There is no mini fridge in the room so cannot drink cold water. Bed is comfortable, room is clean. If you need to catch up flight this is good choice.

Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Highly recommend for single traveler. All the staff were very kind Even though I can’t speak Chinese, they tried to do their best to help me. The price is reasonable including breakfast. The shuttle service was very convenient. I would like to stay again if I have a chance to travel Shanghai. 혼자 여행 오신 분들께 적극 추천해요! 가격도 착하고 시설도 엄청 깨끗하고 조식포함에 공항, 디즈니랜드, 지하철 역 셔틀서비스까지!! 직원분들도 너무 친절하셔서 중국어 하나도 못하는데 파파고로 다 도와주셨어요!

I was very satisfied with the room. The facilities were very complete. When I came back from Disney at night, there was a free sweet soup, fruit and pickled pepper bucket delivered to the lobby on the first floor of the room. They also provided plum soup, tea and other things. There was also an amusement park in the lobby on the first floor. People with children can come and play to lose weight and free their hands. The breakfast restaurant was very rich and had a lot of breakfast varieties. It was open on the 11th floor until noon. The housekeepers cleaned it very well. It was a very good stay. I also recommended it to my friends. The lobby decoration was also very high-end, and the cleaning was very clean. Every corner was marble, and the decoration of the room was also separated into dry and wet areas. It was super good.

Location wise: It’s a short walk from the metro station exit to the hotel (there is a shortcut if you take exit 18 (i think?) where there’s an elevator up to the street level, where you just need to walk towards the hotel (there’s a mini police station near the lift exit, the hotel is located beyond the police station and the small carpark between the police station and the hotel)). However, this metro station is HUGE and it takes maybe 10 mins from one end of the station to the other. Other exits of the train station (on the other end) leads to a heartland-ish mall with food and drink options. Overall hotel stay: pretty good experience with a pretty big space for 2 luggages with extra walking space. TV doesn’t have much entertainment but that’s fine. Bed and pillow were rather comfortable (of a certain standard as this hotel brands themselves as a sleep hotel - a place where you can get quality sleep. Which was a pretty cool concept). A big thank you to the hotel staff - thanks for helping us out with the process of ordering food via the app (as we didn’t have a Mainland China number, which is required for the food delivery apps). Thank you for also accommodating to our request(s), appreciate it! A side note: The hotel has a laundry room, but the usage of the washer and dryer isn’t complimentary (it’s chargeable). Once again it was a pretty good stay! Thank you!

The hotel is well located, the rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful 😻 it was my favorite place, the room has little lighting but the other facilities are very good

On the cleanliness i did 4 because of age of the carpets and facilities. But the bathroom was a 5 in cleanliness . The hotel was excellent in location next to the Century Avenue subway with connections to good lines. The hotel is showing its age but not in a bad way. Some of it quite retro so nice to see the wood work. The room aircon did not work properly just the fan no temp change room was Chinese style warm. Could not get it cold enough for my preferred sleeping temperature. But still stay was good value I think.
