Hotel berhampiran Old Site of Customs Library, Shanghai

HOTEL HAD NO HEATING WORKING! Stayed here few times already, nice interior, big bathtub, good service. But this time big minus was that ac heating didn’t worked tho i changed one room but in second one was bad too, Shanghai is very cold in winter so hotel “must have” is good heating .. suggested them to change it for some newer heating system, and i hope they’ll fix it asap.

Friendly check in staff, she was accommodating to my request for late check out, just have to top up a little. Do note that staff spoke little English so it might be troublesome for non mandarin speakers. I helped a some tourist translate with my limited mandarin vocabulary. I did not try the breakfast but looks great on photos. 7mins walk to JingAn Shi metro station. Convenient store just across the road.

We arrived very late at 3 Am and the staff was friendly. Even though she cannot speak English, she was really helpful and used a translation app to communicate with us. Kudos to the night shift staff. She was really friendly and helpful. The room that we booked is really spacious. 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The room is huge enough to put 2 medium sized luggage even when it is open. Not to mention the room is clean. But bring your own shampoo. Their shampoo will make your hair really dry. There's a hairdryer and you can request for toothbrush and toothpaste if you need it. Bottled water is provided as well. There are 3 metro stations that are walkable but the nearest one is chanping road station which is line 7 and another one is Jing an station which is line 2, 7. There's a lot to see in Jing an temple area too. There's a lot of restaurants around the hotel as well and I will definitely recommend alimentari and degusteria which is opposite the hotel. They served very good Italian cuisine. There's also a washing machine and dryer which is free to use for everyone. There's detergent as well. And also if you need to keep your luggage, there's luggage storage for you to use after checkout. Overall the experience is really good with this hotel. Will totally recommend it to others.

Nice staff and very helpful and friendly! Great location near many local restaurants and nearby the Jing A Temple subway. Very convenient! I would stay there next time too!

I would say its okay to stay here. There are a lot of restaurants nearby which open all day and bikes in front of the hostel which you can scan and bike at any time. There is also a big shopping mall at the junction, just 200m from the hostel. However it seemed hard for me to book Didi(grab/uber in China) from a place to hostel especially at night. We had no choice to take a bus/subway or ride some times. Subway line 7 is close to the location and a bus top opposite to as well. You can take a ride to Jing’an temple near there just around 2km. The room was quite clean and we loved the bathroom very much. Just one thing is there was no wardrobe or closet, therefore we had to leave our cloths on the table/chair. Some complained at small beds however it was still good for me and my friend.

You almost can't find a better deal; anything cheaper will be much less quality or not as good location (except Pujue hotel near zhongshan park; it is slightly better and a good comparison)

great hotel. conveniently located for travel to jingan for tourist stuff. the jian bing spot directly across the street is the bomb, as is the small raman noodle spot around the corner and all you can eat kou ro at lunch time also around the corner. staff were friendly, and my room had its own washing machine!

Di bawah jenama Intercontinental, bilik suite adalah sangat luas Walaupun hiasannya biasa-biasa saja, ia mempunyai semua yang anda perlukan. Adalah lebih baik jika terdapat kain teduh di sekatan kaca di antara bilik tidur dan ruang tamu Lelaki dan gadis kacak di meja depan sangat bagus Kami melancong sebagai keluarga yang terdiri daripada tiga orang dan mereka membantu kami katil tambahan secara percuma, serta minuman selamat datang dan makanan ringan Apa yang lebih mengejutkan ialah Terdapat juga persembahan oleh kumpulan yang dipanggil Uncle Shanghai, yang menganggap pingat gangsa itu adalah raja. Sungguh perjalanan yang berbaloi.

The location here is very good, less than 10 mins walk to West Nanjing Road metro. Over there for lots of shops and eateries too. The only let down is the property. The master room bathroom drainage is very bad. When you shower in that room, the water will come out from the outside sink hole (took a photo to show the bathroom) which then means the floor becomes very very wet. Also the inside sink hole doesn't flow well and very slow. Secondly, the property smells like drainage/sewage especially when you come back after a whole day outside. When you turn on the aircon it ok, but if you don't you can smell it. Otherwise, location is good, service was very smooth and easy for check in, and easy to communicate with the management, just a let down in the property.

This hotel is great! It's my first time in China with limit of budget and here is very reasonable price. The location is close to touristic area, delecious Mala a, train station and easy to find. But for traveller who can't speak Chinese you might confuse the name with another hotel on the map. So, better to ask receptionist to pin location for you if you want to use Didi. Room and facilities is nice and spacious more than expected I stayed in Family room type on the 1st night. Bed is great, toilet is clean with automatic toilet flushing, movie screen is very huge! Then I extend 3 more nights when my brother arrived but the room was fully booked so I had to switch to small room with no window. It was good and cheap but for none smoker, you might smell smoke easily. On the lobby, you can get free water, coke, popcorn, tea and coffee. Very good! The best is receptionist!!! They are very nice and helpful. I can't speak any Chinese and they can't speak Endlish but they tried to communication via translator which is really helpful. I definately recommend to new traveler in China who need to save budget same as me.
