Stayed here for 3 nights in Xintiandi and our experience has been amazing! The hotel staff were very patient and helpful when we had some couriers delivered to the hotel to bring back home. :) It was very convenient to call for food deliveries to the hotel. You can just indicate your room number and the automated robot will deliver the food to your door room! Overall, very satisfied with the amenities and facilities provided by Atour! The gave us a small little gift after we check out, will consider to stay with Atour again next time! :)

This hotel is truly excellent, especially their service, which felt incredibly thoughtful!
I booked this hotel because of its convenient location for getting around. It's right across the street from Exit 7 of Laoximen Metro Station, making it super easy to go anywhere. Popular attractions like Yu Garden, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and The Bund are essentially just one or two metro stops away, or even within walking distance.
Since it's a new hotel opened in 2024, everything inside is brand new and has a great design aesthetic. The room was meticulously clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. They even provided essential oils, and I enjoyed the aromatherapy experience in the room – quite nice!
But the service, oh, the service was exceptionally thoughtful! This is what I really want to highlight! Especially the staff members you mentioned, Kongqing and Yan Chu, they were incredibly attentive. I had noted in my reservation that I needed the two single beds pushed together, and upon check-in, it was already arranged exactly as requested, completely meeting my needs. I also had a lot of purchases and temporarily needed to send a package but couldn't find a suitable box, so I asked the front desk for help. Yan Chu and Kongqing didn't show any impatience at all and very enthusiastically helped me find appropriate boxes. It's these little things that truly show a hotel's service, and it really made me feel warm and cared for.

GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived, the experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. One of the staff specially took us to explore the different types of room so we can decide which room type to take which we really appreciate!! The location is so accessible!!We can reach the main tourist attractions like Xintiandi, Yuyuan and Nanjing road within 10 mins by their cab Didi and costs less than USD$3 only and the pick up and drop off point is just in front of the hotel which is so easy for us!!They even offer free popcorn and drinks and amenities like travel sunblock cream, soap, floss, body cream throughout our stay!!All of the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional — always greeting us with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable such as helping us to book ******* delivery and helping us to collect our taobao parcels.
Our room was spotless clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared such as the toilet seat with a warm function. Every detail, from the amenities to the housekeeping, reflected the hotel’s high standards and care for guests.
Special mention to the front desk team— their friendliness and helpful recommendations truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, highly accessible location and affordable pricing. the price of each night is only usd $70!!!!you cannot find this kind of highly rated hotel with this pricing in Shanghai!!Can’t wait to return again soon! GGuest UserThe room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip.
Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses.
**Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring.
**Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel with good friendly staff. They offer free delivery and help to store your Taobao packages. The free breakfast every morning is very delicious with various cuisine selections.
The location is very convenient too. Right in the city center and easy to call didi as well as metro which is right across. The bicycles are parked right in front as well so you can rent them.
Free water and snacks are given everyday too. Will definitely recommend this place if you were to stay in Shanghai.

Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are very well maintained. We booked a Pearl Room, and the front desk assigned us a fantastic room with a direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – it was incredible to see it so up close! The location is also superb, right in the heart of Lujiazui, with convenient access to IFC for dining and shopping downstairs. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
Upon checking in, we mentioned it was our anniversary. Later that evening, we found a lovely small setup in our room, along with a complimentary cake and champagne – a very thoughtful gesture! A special thank you to Jessi from Guest Services for taking such great care of our child, even preparing drawing paper and kid's amenities. After dinner, our child enjoyed a swim in the pool, while we adults relaxed with drinks at Flair in the evening.
Furthermore, while the breakfast didn't offer the widest variety I've ever seen, it was by far the most exquisite. They even peeled and sliced pomelo and oranges for you – who does that?! You absolutely must try the potstickers; they're so juicy! There was a foreign female manager who was constantly attending to guests during breakfast, proactively asking about the food and helping clear plates. All the staff had smiles on their faces – I truly loved it!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. There's a subway station right nearby, and downstairs is a bustling shopping street with tons of malls. Even though it's a commercial area, the mix of international architectural styles gives it a unique vibe. I spent an entire afternoon wandering among these buildings, feeling like I was traveling through different times and dimensions. It was like experiencing multiple worlds in one afternoon.
From there, it was just a few minutes' walk to the Bund, connecting with the Oriental Pearl Tower. Even in the heart of the city, I felt a refreshing sense of being bathed in a forest, perhaps because of the evening breeze, the Huangpu River, or the iconic Oriental Pearl itself. Anyway, I was so pleased with the journey this hotel enabled.
When I got tired, it was just a few minutes back to the hotel to rest before heading out for some night sightseeing. So, staying at this hotel was a surprisingly rewarding experience.

1. **Bedding Surprise**: The moment we opened the door, 'Happy Birthday' written in green leaves🍃 was spread all over the bed! 🥰
2. **Thoughtful Touches**: A small chocolate cake was prepared in advance, and it was absolutely delicious! 🥰
Even more amazing was the 'indoor swimming pool' – with heated, circulating water! Two essential oil diffusers were running indoors, filling the whole room with a subtle cedarwood scent. At night, the Oriental Pearl Tower sparkled right outside the window, and soaking in the water while watching the tower lights change colors was incredibly refreshing!
Also, a special shout-out to Vicky; she even messaged us after check-out to ask about our experience! 🥰

GGuest UserI stayed at Guisu Hotel in Caishouli. It is a newly fixed-up old Shanghai Shikumen house. The room was very nice and clean. The kitchen and bathroom were useful and had a washing machine. There was also a small yard. It was easy to walk to the subway station and to Huaihai Road for shopping. It is a quiet place in the busy city. If you want to try a real Shanghai Shikumen style house, staying here is much better and cheaper than a hotel. The front door has a code lock. I did everything myself from check-in to leaving. No one bothered me. I liked it a lot.
