The basic facilities in the room were OK, because it was a new hotel, the overall decoration was quite new. Overall, it’s pretty good. The breakfast has both Chinese and Western dishes, which is pretty good. There’s a food delivery robot for takeout, which is very convenient. The guy at the hotel front desk also gave me two bottles of water and cookies after checking out. Overall, it has an orange theme. I’d like to mention it. Opinion: The orange gummy candies in the room are delicious. You can put five or six of them, but three are too few, hahaha😂

I stayed in this hotel because of this competition, and the experience was full! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I could feel the full sense of luxury. The decoration style is my favorite, and it smells good. The decorations in the details are very tasteful, and you can shoot them at will.
The service attitude of the front desk staff is particularly good, the check-in procedures are very efficient, and they patiently introduced me to the various facilities of the hotel and the fun places around. The guest room surprised me even more. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress is moderately hard and soft. It is especially refreshing to lie on it and have a good night's sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry.
The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, the gym equipment is new and complete, the breakfast variety is rich, both Chinese and Western, the freshly made fried eggs and wontons taste great, and the dining environment is also very quiet and elegant.
The location is also very superior, and it is very convenient for shopping, eating, and traveling around. When checking out, the hotel asked if you still need water, which is really heartwarming! GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived, the experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. One of the staff specially took us to explore the different types of room so we can decide which room type to take which we really appreciate!! The location is so accessible!!We can reach the main tourist attractions like Xintiandi, Yuyuan and Nanjing road within 10 mins by their cab Didi and costs less than USD$3 only and the pick up and drop off point is just in front of the hotel which is so easy for us!!They even offer free popcorn and drinks and amenities like travel sunblock cream, soap, floss, body cream throughout our stay!!All of the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional — always greeting us with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable such as helping us to book ******* delivery and helping us to collect our taobao parcels.
Our room was spotless clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared such as the toilet seat with a warm function. Every detail, from the amenities to the housekeeping, reflected the hotel’s high standards and care for guests.
Special mention to the front desk team— their friendliness and helpful recommendations truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, highly accessible location and affordable pricing. the price of each night is only usd $70!!!!you cannot find this kind of highly rated hotel with this pricing in Shanghai!!Can’t wait to return again soon! MMccaBWe made a one-night stop here on our 10-day trip, after exploring Hangzhou and Suzhou - and we were revisiting, having already enjoyed four lovely nights here earlier. The stay was pleasant and comfortable, with a appreciated free shuttle service to nearby spots. But the highlight was the complimentary supper every night after 9pm - delicious wonton, noodles, and rice noodles! The staff were friendly, polite, and courteous throughout, making our stay even more wonderful!

GGuest UserThe room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip.
Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses.
**Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring.
**Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel with good friendly staff. They offer free delivery and help to store your Taobao packages. The free breakfast every morning is very delicious with various cuisine selections.
The location is very convenient too. Right in the city center and easy to call didi as well as metro which is right across. The bicycles are parked right in front as well so you can rent them.
Free water and snacks are given everyday too. Will definitely recommend this place if you were to stay in Shanghai.

Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are very well maintained. We booked a Pearl Room, and the front desk assigned us a fantastic room with a direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – it was incredible to see it so up close! The location is also superb, right in the heart of Lujiazui, with convenient access to IFC for dining and shopping downstairs. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
Upon checking in, we mentioned it was our anniversary. Later that evening, we found a lovely small setup in our room, along with a complimentary cake and champagne – a very thoughtful gesture! A special thank you to Jessi from Guest Services for taking such great care of our child, even preparing drawing paper and kid's amenities. After dinner, our child enjoyed a swim in the pool, while we adults relaxed with drinks at Flair in the evening.
Furthermore, while the breakfast didn't offer the widest variety I've ever seen, it was by far the most exquisite. They even peeled and sliced pomelo and oranges for you – who does that?! You absolutely must try the potstickers; they're so juicy! There was a foreign female manager who was constantly attending to guests during breakfast, proactively asking about the food and helping clear plates. All the staff had smiles on their faces – I truly loved it!

OOlivia_yijuanThe front desk service here was really welcoming, and the hotel environment itself was great, very clean, with a lovely fragrance wafting through the hallways. The bed was super comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. There's a subway station right nearby, and downstairs is a bustling shopping street with tons of malls. Even though it's a commercial area, the mix of international architectural styles gives it a unique vibe. I spent an entire afternoon wandering among these buildings, feeling like I was traveling through different times and dimensions. It was like experiencing multiple worlds in one afternoon.
From there, it was just a few minutes' walk to the Bund, connecting with the Oriental Pearl Tower. Even in the heart of the city, I felt a refreshing sense of being bathed in a forest, perhaps because of the evening breeze, the Huangpu River, or the iconic Oriental Pearl itself. Anyway, I was so pleased with the journey this hotel enabled.
When I got tired, it was just a few minutes back to the hotel to rest before heading out for some night sightseeing. So, staying at this hotel was a surprisingly rewarding experience.

GGuest UserI stayed at Guisu Hotel in Caishouli. It is a newly fixed-up old Shanghai Shikumen house. The room was very nice and clean. The kitchen and bathroom were useful and had a washing machine. There was also a small yard. It was easy to walk to the subway station and to Huaihai Road for shopping. It is a quiet place in the busy city. If you want to try a real Shanghai Shikumen style house, staying here is much better and cheaper than a hotel. The front door has a code lock. I did everything myself from check-in to leaving. No one bothered me. I liked it a lot.

**Environment**: The decor is a minimalist style. The desk is quite good.
