2-3분 도보거리가 밤에 살짝 핫플이라 매우 편하게 이용했습니다. 다인 유스호스텔보다 위치는 더 나아요

I was positively surprised by this hotel. I stayed here for two nights during my visit to Shanghai over a weekend. The location is absolutely perfect in the heart of Shanghai, the rooms have a good size with large bathrooms (at least my room did). Cleanliness level was also very high. I have nothing negative to say about my stay here and I would definitely consider to book this hotel again in the future. Check-in procedure for foreign travelers is also smooth.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Langham, Shanghai 新天地 on March 26th, anticipating a comfortable and enjoyable experience. However, upon arriving at my assigned room, I was dismayed to discover that it had not been cleaned. This left me feeling disappointed and inconvenienced.
The housekeeping staff on the floor immediately apologized for the oversight and assured me that they would notify the front desk. However, I was still dissatisfied with the situation and decided to proceed to the lobby to speak with a manager.
Upon reaching the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and attentive Manager. After understanding the situation, The Lobby Manager did not attempt to deflect blame but instead offered his sincere apologies and promptly arranged for me to be transferred to a new room. To my further delight, The Manager personally escorted me to the new room and patiently introduced me to the hotel's facilities and services.
In the newly assigned room, I was met with a sense of order and cleanliness. The room was tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and exuded a cozy ambiance. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's cleanliness standards and the attention to detail.
While the initial hiccup with the uncleaned room was disappointing, the hotel's swift and courteous response transformed my overall experience into a positive one. The Manager genuine concern and proactive service made me feel truly valued as a guest, leaving a lasting positive impression of The Langham brand.

Jen 高畅畅 was the reason why we stayed here so long. We booked this place, had a problem on trip, and she stayed behind after work to help book and call a other hotel when this was fully booked. We returned here and stayed for an additional week and a half. She speaks great english. The others couldn't but they'd try to help me through translation.
Besides her, the hotel pictures sometimes did not do it justice. It was smaller than how I'd imagine it through the pictures. The price is the cheapest in the area and the room was reasonable.
We had a double bed with window. There's a mesh screen so we aren't able to fully ”open” the window and there isn't much of a view. More like some machinery. That was the same with my friends room who also got a room with a window.
Also our bathroom kinda smelled like pee when we first came in.
Otherwise, I liked that they replaced our toilet paper, 2 water bottles, and slippers every day. They also provide like 5 hangers. The AC was nice and cold. Doors are thin. You can hear the person outside your door. They refill the shampoo when it ran out. We stayed here a total of about 2 weeks.
This place was near the popular areas, so everything I needed was walkable. Yes, I'd stay here again mostly because of the price.
There's no place to store luggage after check in as the front office is super tiny. Some people store it outside the front but that is at your own risk.

The location here is very good, less than 10 mins walk to West Nanjing Road metro. Over there for lots of shops and eateries too.
The only let down is the property.
The master room bathroom drainage is very bad. When you shower in that room, the water will come out from the outside sink hole (took a photo to show the bathroom) which then means the floor becomes very very wet. Also the inside sink hole doesn't flow well and very slow.
Secondly, the property smells like drainage/sewage especially when you come back after a whole day outside. When you turn on the aircon it ok, but if you don't you can smell it.
Otherwise, location is good, service was very smooth and easy for check in, and easy to communicate with the management, just a let down in the property.

Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.

Stayed in Shanghai for work for 2 days in July 2024, hotel check in is located at 54th-ish floor of the building, with a nice waiting area, overseeing the Shanghai city. As the hotel is quite sizable, check in area could get a little crowded at times.
Room was located on 81st floor of the hotel, and shortly after I stepped out the elevator - WOW. Timeless spiral design. Had to take some photos there and was worried I might drop my phone LOL. Once I stepped in my room, just another WOW. Overseeing the Shanghai city and was able to see the sunrise the next morning.
The room itself is big and comfy.
Booked a room with club access, which is located on 83rd floor and serves breakfast / afternoon tea. Quite surprised most of the guests were up early. It opens at 6:30am and by 7am, it was mostly occupied, luckily I went there early and able to grab a nice spot looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower.
The hotel is located in the middle of where all the financial institutions’ head offices are, but it isn’t exactly near to the city where all the markets area. Highly recommend for people coming here for work, but may not as much for tourism.

Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus.
The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself.
On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them.
Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this.
At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen.
Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel
Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure.
I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T
I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm.
To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :)
Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol.
Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good.
Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari?
Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required.
Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna.
Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building.
The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city.
Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch.
In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day.
I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food.
The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for.
The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building.
The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel.
Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for.
The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service.
All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect.
Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker.
It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged.
Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products.
What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable.
I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit.

DDKWThe hotel’s location is very convenient for anyone who wants to fly out from Hongqiao airport; it only takes a few minutes to walk over there.
The service provided is very good. Essentials such as Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. I booked a room with breakfast included, which was a great choice. The breakfast buffet has tons of options to choose from.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Srui Tong arranged found a room with a window for my stay. The room is very clean and quiet ; Two complimentary bottle water are provided.
I had a nice stay, will be back soon.

TTrippin’Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.

RRonakLocation is pretty remote-difficult to get around the area without a car as no bikes available in this region of the island. The resort itself was fantastic but only one gate was available to leave which made it awkward, food is very expensive in the restaurant and activities were limited at this time of the year. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent, the walkways within the resort were awesome and hotel shuttle service to get around the resort is great too. Great resort for families and especially if you have a car! I would stay again, but probably get a driving license first 😂.

I was thoroughly impressed by this hotel. The room is very spacious, clean, trendy and the checkout time. If you are visiting Shanghai and need to wait for an afternoon flight/train, the checkout time will make your trip back more comfortable.

Aarny_lifePerfect location to enjoy Shanghai’s river view (make sure you reserve River View rooms!!) and LOVE the complete gym facilities and big swimming pool! If you’re the type of person who loves to stay active during vacation, this is definitely the hotel to be!
The only downside is that the room looks a little old (maybe the carpet? Or the hair-dryer?), bathtub is smaller than usual, and no big sofa to sit on. I booked a Queen Bed - River View room and there was only one chair with leg-rest. Also, I couldn’t get a higher floor room despite making a request upon reservation and it was a Thursday night. Nevertheless, the view is still amazing! And of course, you can always go to Vue Bar (half price entrance for in-house guests) to see better views!
Totally recommend it if you plan to stay in Shanghai!
