My stay at the Dameisha Intercontinental Hotel was nothing short of magical! 🌊✨ From the moment we arrived for our two-night beach getaway, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel right at home. The hotel is perfectly situated, just steps away from the soft sandy beach, where we spent our days soaking up the sun and listening to the gentle waves lapping at the shore. The ocean views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to that view each morning felt like a dream! The amenities were top-notch, with a lovely pool area where we could relax after our swims in the sea. We also indulged in some delicious meals at the hotel’s restaurants, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.

Celebrated my always birthday in paradise at Intercontinental Dameisha! 🌊✨ Stunning sea views, a private beach escape, and delicious dim sum made it unforgettable. I recently celebrated my always-18th birthday here lol, and it was nothing short of incredible. While the check-in processing took a bit longer than expected, the amazing staff, especially- Blue Du, really made my day special by offering me a beautiful room with a stunning sea view in a quieter area which required by me —thank you for that! The beach and swimming pool area were superb—private, clean, and staffed with plenty of lifeguards, which made me feel secure and at ease. I truly appreciated the attention to safety. As for the dining experience, I was pleasantly surprised by their Chinese restaurant, the food was delicious, and the dim sum exceeded my expectations—definitely better than your average dim sum place in SZ. (highly recommended the LaiChi shrimp ball and loster noodle, super yum!!) To top it all off, the hotel sent me a lovely fruit basket as an IHG member privilege at night, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday celebration, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!!!

The place is GREAT! Thumbs up for the pool and the beach sand... Breakfast has variety of food... Chinese & Western! The room is clean and has no smell compared to other hotels. The staff are great.. special mention to Hugo! Very accommodating and helpful.. thumbs up! Easy check in and easy check out.. My son loves the surprise welcome stuffed toy with a Happy Bday note.. They also sent over a cake and a plate of fruits.. A good place to unwind and enjoy the weekend.. Will definitely be coming back!

Cons - the kids stuff in the hotel aren't that great and the indoor playhouse leave a lot to be desired - there are no washing hand soup , only solid soap available - the aircon is very slow in opening up Pros - the pool are great and big - the buffet is good(breakfast and dinner) - the standard room are big - lobby is probably the best in shenzhen hotel Overall is good, if not great, but also very expensive among sz 5 stars hotel

A Refreshing Family Getaway at the hotel As a busy mom of two young children, ages 6 and 2, I was in desperate need of a relaxing family getaway. That's why I decided to book a stay at the Sheraton Dameisha Resort in Shenzhen. From the moment we arrived, I knew we had made the perfect choice. The hotel's stunning coastal location was the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. My children's faces lit up as we stepped into the expansive lobby, with its modern decor and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us warmly and promptly escorted us to our spacious and well-appointed room, complete with a breathtaking view of the sea. The real highlight for my family, however, was the hotel's incredible outdoor pool area. My 6-year-old daughter squealed with delight as she ran towards the crystal-clear waters, while my 2-year-old son giggled as I helped him splash around in the shallow end. The pool's size and design allowed my husband and I to relax on the loungers while keeping a close eye on the kids. After working up an appetite, we made our way to the hotel's diverse dining options. The buffet restaurant offered an impressive array of international cuisines, catering perfectly to the varying tastes of our family. My daughter particularly enjoyed the extensive dessert selection, while my son happily devoured the child-friendly dishes. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our family's comfort and satisfaction. From the friendly front desk to the attentive wait staff, everyone seemed genuinely invested in making our vacation as memorable as possible. As we reluctantly packed our bags to head home, my children were already pleading to return to the Sheraton Dameisha Resort. This family-friendly oasis provided us with the perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment, allowing us to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this hotel to any parents seeking a rejuvenating getaway with their little ones.

Totally disappointed!!!That's the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel of the Intercontinental Hotel Group. In fact it is even worse than many of other 3-4 stars hotels of other brands. I am just wondering if this hotel is a "counterfeit" Intercontiental Hotel. The reputable operations and service management of such luxurious brand is in the middle of nowhere! Below are some "Good" experience we had had during our stay - - Check-in Chaos It took almost ONE hour to queue up in the hotel lobby at the counter for chec-in. After spending an hour on the queue and finally reached out to the reception by 1330, the staff told me that the official check-in time is 1500 and no rooms could be offered at that moment! I was requested to return after 1500 to take the room keys and they simply gave me an access card for my family to access the facility upfront. I returned to the reception at round 1700 and after checking for 10 min., the staff ( a man) gave me the room keys but told me that the rooms were not yet ready and took 30 min. more to tidy up! I asked him why as the reception lady had committed to have rooms after 1500 and that man said that such commitment was not made by him and looks totally indifferent. We went straight to the rooms around 1800 and once we open the door using the room key, we found out a maid was still sweeping the floor inside one of our rooms! - Frontline Manager and Staff issue During queuing up for check-in, I saw a man in the queue started to scold the frontline staff due to long time wasted. The man then took out his phone and seemed live streaming the scenario with lots of bad comments in the social media. I could not see any managers or supervisors coming out to help out to resolve the case and just let it be to cause potential impact to the hotel's branding. On the other hand, due to the irrational late check-in time, I requested the staff to allow to extend the check-out time from originally 1200 to 1500. The staff told me that the system showed that the keys had been given to me by 1730 and could only extend the check out on a pro-rata basis to 1430! I told her that the room was only ready around 1800 due to their maid cleansing and she finally extended the late check-out to 1500. I really cannot imagine how picky a staff can act like this in a 5-star hotel. - Breakfast chaos We went to the hotel cafe to have buffet breakfast by 0900 and found out a theme park alike queue at the entrance! In fact breakfast peak hours are very common in hotels and usually hotels will give heads-up and reminder about such rush hours or even allowed the guests to pick the timeslots during check-in to avoid such chaos. Again no such arrangement were in place. - "Smoking friendly" hotel I noted the hotel is non-smoking one and saw many relevant signages around in the public area. However, I and my family saw a number of people smoking in the public area of the hotel (e.g. poolside, benches at resting area) but no staff intervened at all. In fact the Male toilet in the lobby was filled with smoking smell.

Good location, clean hotel, big area, only the staff in lobby bar very very uncompetitive, they spoiled our vacation..
