Holway House

All the positive reviews of Holway House are for a reason. It is just the loveliest, welcoming and friendly establishment that you rarely find. Well positioned and spotlessly clean it is a great place to spend a short break. John does a wonderful cooked breakfast plus makes home made marmalade and jams and Lucy makes everyone welcome with self effacing humour and a fund of knowledge about the area which is very useful. Thoroughly recommend.

The Bed and breakfast is just outside the main busier part of town so it is located in a quiet location. The room was spacious with a few pieces of vintage furniture offering plenty of storage for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable with good pillows and duvet with added pull up cover for colder residents. The room even had a fan if required (excellent addition) The shower was good quality and simple to use. All aspects of the accomodation were really clean, pretty and well presented. There were some lovely touches with unusual art work throughout the house. Tea and coffee making facilities and fresh water were provided on a daily basis. The breakfast room was bright and airy and again had some lovely original features.The actual breakfast was of a very high standard offering wonderful chopped fruit and greek yogurt, cereals, granola. poached eggs, scrambled eggs, or a full English breakfast. John is a fully qualified chef and Lucy is just so warm, friendly and a wonderful hostess. Everything is very organised and thought out to cater for most guests needs. We arrived by cycle and had a great secure area in which to leave our bikes overnight without worry. They are very helpful with bus times, places of interest and know the best resturants to eat at. The following morning John kindly filled our bottles for our return journey home.

Lovely place very clean and comfortable room with great facilities and breakfast with locally sourced produce. Parking available and a close walk to town.Hosts were friendly and informative of the area would not hesitate to return and recommend 👍🏼

Lovey B&B with an easy walk to the centre of Sheringham and the sea front. The B&B is very clean and has free parking just behind the property. Lucy & John are very good hosts and provide a wonderful breakfast. They also know the surrounding area very well and are happy to provide suggestions for places to visit and where to eat.

What a wonderful stay we had with Lucy & John. Such a friendly atmosphere without being overbearing. The room was immaculate and the breakfast fantastic - good farm to fork produce well cooked. Lots of homemade preserves - go for the marmalade, absolutely delicious 😋 now we’ve found this lovely home frame home we will be back again. Outstanding service, great breakfast selection in an excellent location, the recent modern bedroom upgrades are a real bonus and are kept very clean. Bedding and towels are of a very good quality. The rooms offer, soap, shampoo conditioner, tea/coffee, biscuits and filtered water, in my experience unusual for a B and B. Lucy who runs the front of house is very friendly and welcoming, she goes out of her way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay, offering advice and local knowledge. All in all a very pleasant stay which I would highly recommend. Thankyou Lucy and John.
