Fabulous location and amazing service. The entrance to Shilin is about 3 Km away however we could exit the park near to the hotel which is about 3 minutes walk. The exit is also where the museum is located so we could visit the museum after leaving the park. The service is excellent with special thanks to Madam Ho who took an extra step to check on us if we need any amenities.

Reception don t exists, swimming pool was completely green, Nobody speaks nothing but chinese, All seems like if it was abandoned till the week before Rooms are OK Breakfast is very good (chinese)

In my opinion the hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel and room in general could be way better. It was clear that the room wasn’t cleaned properly in ages. The breakfast is 100% Chinese, and also didn’t feel very hygienic too. People cleaned their plate with boiled water before using. That’s not giving me a lot of trust. Furthermore, the tables were all very dirty so not nice to eat your breakfast from. The location however is great if you want to visit Stone Forest!

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

A nice friendly & cool ambiance hotel, near the stone forest. 20 km away from the fast train station. 35/45 minutes driving distance. Many variety of food in breakfast service.

The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere. It used to be next to the stone forest, but they moved the entrance, so you have to take a taxi and then the shuttle inside to park to get to the beginning of the park, (next to the hotel but other side of the fence). On your way out of the stone forest you can ask to take the employee exit and walk back to the hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious. The pool was dirty, but still nice. When we wanted to cool down in the pool after the stone forest, it was closed for cleaning, and not just for a few hours, but for a few days!! That is not wat we were used to when in comes to hotel pools... The breakfast is very Chinese. So no black coffee or international dishes. For dinner it is 1.2 km walk to the Yi minority compensation tourist village, there a some ok options and a nice town square with stalls.

Very happy with the hotel. The staff were super friendly. The room was very clean and the service was wonderful. The location is nine minutes way from the stone forest by car.

Environment: Very good, close to the scenic area. The museum is within walking distance. However, for the Stone Forest scenic area, first-time visitors must enter from the visitor center. The ticket is valid for 3 days; subsequent visits can enter from the museum. Enjoying tea on the terrace is also quite pleasant. Facilities: Complete, but some minor details could be improved. The room we were initially given wasn't the one we booked, but we negotiated for a change. The room smelled really bad, and the cleanliness was terrible. From the bathroom to the sheets to the cups 🤦♀️, everything was terribly dirty. I don't know how it got a 4-star rating. Breakfast was even worse. The supposedly sterilized dishes were put in after washing, even before they were dry. The sterilizer was just a decoration. I had thought we'd booked a place near the Stone Forest Scenic Area, but I still had to take a taxi. It was inconvenient, and there was nowhere to eat nearby.

made, don't come to this hotel even if you live in a doghouse! I basically don't give bad reviews, but I really can't stand this one and want to complain. The environment is dirty and messy, completely different from the pictures, the room is smelly, the bed and mattress are full of hair, and there is no toilet seat pad. There are only a few pieces of tissue paper in the tissue box. What does the big cotton underneath mean? The toilet is also spotty and dirty, so I dare not go to the toilet. The socket is broken, who dares to use this? The towels are full of stains! The TV can't be turned on. I really don't know where those good reviews come from! And it's not a few dozen meters away from the scenic spot, it's the old entrance to the scenic spot before! ! Now I don't go there anymore, I enter again from the new ticket office entrance 5 kilometers away! Don't be deceived, order a takeaway more than ten kilometers away. It's really the truth, everyone avoid thunder! ! ! ! !

I drove here from another place because it is close to the Stone Forest Scenic Area. The hotel is an independent garden with a very good environment and very convenient parking. The room is very large and there are several buildings. The breakfast is also very good with many varieties, especially the rice noodles are delicious.

Service: We chose this hotel 🏨 while traveling with our children during the summer. We stayed one night and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy! 😲! Thumbs up! Environment: The hotel 🏨 is in a relatively quiet location, conveniently located not far from the Stone Forest Scenic Area. There's ample parking 🅿️ within the hotel, though it's a bit far from the city center. Cleanliness: I booked a three-bed room 🛏️. The cleanliness was okay, though the window was small, which lacked ventilation. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletry was a bit dated. The water pressure and hot water were poor, making showers uncomfortable. Facilities: The hotel's amenities are decent, with a cafeteria for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it convenient for travelers to dine without having to go out to eat.
