Our stay at this charming Shimla property was truly unforgettable. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel instantly at home. They organized a delightful bonfire experience exclusively for my family, adding a special touch to our visit. The food, reminiscent of homemade meals, was simply delicious, and my mother especially appreciated the culinary delights and the staff's attentive hospitality. We're already planning our return to this lovely property on our next trip to the queen of hills, eager to relive the wonderful memories and create new ones.

This place is very beautiful ,serene surroundings, peaceful and extremely outstanding.highly recommended for nature lovers,as this property is a vintage bunglow belongs to British era, interiors are decorated with beautiful unique antiques,good food of choice,chef preparation is too good and pampering your taste buds.Neat,clean and spacious rooms with balcony where you can sit and enjoy morning and evening tea with a panoramic view of shimla hills, property owner,Mrs.Reeta Suri is a nice and very cooperative lady,Mr.vijay Suri sir is so humble and very helpful.please come here you will definitely fall in love with this property and caretaker Ms.Akanksha is very helpful.Heartly thanq so much,for making my stay so comfy and good .

We discovered the unspoiled beauty of Shimla - mountain air, mild temps, thrilling vistas - by staying at Groombridge. It has the amenities of a hotel with the coziness of a guesthouse. We were well looked after by our host Mr. Vijay Suri, who affably engaged us and helped us enjoy the best of Shimla and surrounds. His dedicated chef and house staff stayed two steps ahead of us, seeing to our needs of all kinds, adjusting as we needed. Some details...each guest room has an en suite. Most have balconies or balcony access. There is a large balcony with a sweeping view of the valley off the dining room for all to enjoy. While walking distance to the Mall road, the neighborhood is quiet - we slept like babies! We used Groombridge as our base for birdwatching and day hikes, Honestly. we saw a good number of birds on our list right on the property. A Brownish-flanked Bush Warbler sang at sunset each evening, and a Great Barbet called each morning.

The best experience we had in our last leg of stay in India after travelling for 7 weeks throughout India in last week of March ‘2023. A small cozy hotel with immaculate clean rooms, well decorated and furnished, good food and very friendly helpful staff. It is away from crowded city Hotels but still part of Simla and located in secluded very quiet scenic neighborhood. To top it off the owner lives in Bungalow next door to take care of any special needs of yours and we did took advantage of it, he was gracious enough to arrange camp fire and Barbecue for us on short notice. We would highly recommend this place for a good lifetime experience at budget price. Rooms: Good-sized rooms with view and Balcony. Immaculate clean bathroom with all amenities including coffee and tea available in room. Unlike ***y places we stayed had plenty of outlets to hook up your gadgets. Nearby activities: Secluded quite neighborhood yet close to central part of Shimla with all activities. Safety: Being a small Hotel in secluded forest like environment and owner living in next door Bungalow, It can’t be any more safer. Walkability: Not too far or close from Mall (Shimla central district). For a walking enthusiast Mall is only 30 Minutes’ walk. Cabs are easily available. Food & drinks: Hotel has in house Kitchen with a good Chef and good taste of Indian dishes. With short notice you can enjoy Barbecue or anything special you need or want to eat and not on regular Menu. Noteworthy details: The ***agement bent backwards to serve you and take care of any special needs you have. The best part was for ***agement to arrange for us Shimla Walk with a well-known travel writer, historian and guide Sumit Raj and founder of Shimlawalk.com. It was the best guided walk we ever had.

It was a brilliant stay at the hotel, with some really good staff and people to chat with. Thank you for your exceptional housekeeping. We had some wonderful meals, and company to go with that. There was really good wifi connection in the basement. I enjoyed the great weather up in the hills with my family members. Cheers and all the very best for the coming ventures!

Excellent Property and very well ***aged, place is for those who want to relax from the hustle bustle of their running schedule. Food and Hospitality is very good, if someone wants to visit Mall Road then it’s 15 min drive from the hotel. Morning walks are bit chilli as area is covered with lush green pine trees and humming of birds in morning makes one forget everything.

Extremely good hotel, seems value for money, owner Mr. Vijay Suri sahab is an amazing host, gave us d best room named ***M, food is also great, complimentary breakfast was also amazing, service from all hotel staff were just out of d world, they all are lovely boys. I am just overwhemled.

Came back after a 3nts stay at this beautiful private residence property of Mr Suri. Went with family and loved every bit of my time spent in Shimla, away from the crowds and chaos of the extremely packed mall road. Mall is about 30mins walk or take a quick 5 min taxi worth 200/- and get dropped at lakkar bazaar. Go to this place for peace and quaintness, do a trek in the nearby forest, get up to the chirping birds and spend the days peacefully. The cooks make some great food so don't worry about your meals but please be mindful that it's a place to spend some quality time and not for loud/noisy evenings which can even damage the experience of someone who's genuinely looking for a serene stay. The host Mr Suri is fantastic and an accomplished personality, will give you the history of the place as well. Don't sweat over the slowness of the place as that's quite normal in all the hills. Do make sure you get the exact directions from Mr Suri so you don't get troubled on the way. Staff is friendly and you'll know them all by their names once you're there. Carry a stick when you're out on the walks and you'll be all fine. Have a good, exclusive and secluded stay.
