The experience was outstanding and fascinating. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary and you made it more colorful and beautiful with your great hospitality. Great location ,great heritage look and old fascinating interior which we miss during our stay in 5 star hotels. Room service was prompt and with lot of love and welcome. Priyanka thakur is very helpful and great staff of your made us feel very comfortable. She is a great asset to your hotel. Ganlas.

From the moment we arrived at the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla we were greeted with kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff: from the ***ager to the concierge, room cleaning staff, restaurant chefs and servers as well as the therapists at the spa, all staff went out of their way to provide extraordinarily levels of service. This a place with a guiding ethos: “What can we do to make your stay with us better?" To highlight specific individuals is difficult as all were exceptional. Special thanks to Chef Raj Kappur Bhattia and his team, Tenzin (at the spa) and Chirag, our room attendant who kept our suite as beautiful and tidy as when we first arrived. As well as its people, the hotel has fantastic facilities: a great restaurant with a wide selection of Indian, Asian and European dishes; the gym is well-equipped and the pool is heated (29C/84F). A definite 5 star review.

Services are excellent and the staff are happy to welcome us. Kitchen staff are best: Rajkumar, the main chef, excellent cook,he has cooked masala dosa for us. Dinning room staff, always there to assist. Arslan , are one of the best, smiling all the time. Reception, ladies are Well ***nered and beautiful.

One of the most memorable trip we had ..stayed for three plus weeks .... Would like to thank the whole Cecil team. From the front desk to housekeeping and dinning and the security all are so helpful and humble . You will feel at home always if you are staying at Cecil .

The best hotel I have been to. The staff are excellent, food delicious and the hotel facilities very good. For information for the independent traveller, there is a small airport in Shimla and Tibet is doable from here. Shimla is stunning, lots of wild Monkeys, history- including House of the former Viceroys of India and walking in foothills of Himalayas

It's always a treat to come back to Cecil. We stayed here for 3 nights. The room and service is excellent as one can expect from Oberoi. Chef Raj Kumar treated us to some great local as well as international delicacies. Meals at the restaurant were the real highlight of the stay.

You will find it difficult to find hospitality as good as the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla ( it matches the hospitality at the wildflower for sure ) The property is a wonderful castle , with luxury in every step, which is matched by its hospitality by its super friendly staff and wonderful food. The chefs will also readily prepare dishes if you want something special. The breakfast spreads were massive and delicious. We had a room on the top floor and the room size was huge. They have parking spots available for your vehicle. The property is walking distance from central Shimla. You will definitely want to come back here for the hospitality and the charm of the hotel.

we had an amazing stay here. the staff is very hospitable. Chef Rajkumar Rao is a star and served us with delicacies one after the other. hotel is at a very convonient location. in just 10 mins you can reach viceroy’s house, military museum and mall road.
