Excellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to ****** which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern.
I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes
Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot.
Overall very good and comfortable stay.

Aamezzzn민둥산역 근처에 위치해 있어서 너무 편했고, 편의점도 바로 앞에 있어서 좋았어요! 식당들도 주변에 많아서 걸어다니기 좋았어요.

크리스마스인데 가격도 꽤나 합리적이었고 오기 전에 먹고 싶은 것들 사가지고와서 저녁에 먹으면 호캉스로 만족하실 듯합니다

PPengguna TetamuRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the ****** specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the ****** donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.

PPengguna TetamuStayed in off season and the hotel was quiet. Was confused on arrival as the most prominent branding is for Ramada, and it took me a while to realize this was my hotel. Decor in hotel and my room was good quality. Breakfast was exactly as advertised, minimal, and is the one thing that could be improved. No shop or cafe in the hotel though there are several nearby outside.

NNicole AhnWent there just to visit the ****** in high one resort, the hotel was not that big but enough for 2 people, also was clean. I suggest this hotel for one or two people but not for a family. If ur planning a family trip, u gotta book bigger room than this one. Pretty satisfied✨

PPengguna Tetamu하이원리조트에서 열리는 학회 참석을 위해 하이밸리호텔을 예약했습니다. 모텔이 호텔로 이름을 바꾼 정도의 시설이었고, 건물은 동네에서 제일 높은 편이라서 찾기 쉬웠습니다.
여름이라서 창문을 닫고 에어콘을 켜고 잤는데 이 동네는 모기가 없고 시원해서 에어컨 끄고 창문을 열고 자도 괜찮았습니다.
그래도 욕실 창문의 그물망이 찢어진 것은 수리를 하면 더 좋겠습니다.
로비의 사장님이 친절하게 응대해 주었습니다.
근처에 개천이 있어서 아침 산책하기도 좋았습니다.

PPengguna TetamuI woke up at the high1 palace hotel found out I mistakenly took somebody else’s luggage and since I spoke no Korean I could only ask the hotel for help and luckily all the staffs at the front desk was so helpful specially the front desk manager Bo-young Kim. She called every possible number, came up to the room to see if inside the luggage had any contact detail. At the end she got it done. After I exchanged suitcases back I wanted to show my appreciation and left a tip at the reception for Miss Kim. When I came back to the room I found under the door a letter , some candies, with the tip I gave miss Kim returned inside the letter which Miss Kim wrote and also a letter from Kim saying it was her job to help me and she was happy she could get it done and wish me a great stay in Korea. I’ve stayed at probably around 30 hotels so far in my life and I’ve never seen someone as eager to help as Miss Kim and not even asking/accepting for any return and this really touched my heart.

00xTCCGreat stay if you are heading to the resort for snowboarding, hourly shuttle bus to the ski resort however staff only have minimal English so hard to communicate and there isn't kakao taxi so it's very hard to call for a taxi, would suggest staying at the ski resort itself If you want to go to the ******.
