When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

他家房間很棒，工作人員也十分負責，我們在酒店住了好多天，後面是直接找前台續住的，他在我們要出門的時候，都是讓司機把我們送到夜市口或者其他地方，他家出行真的很方便，而且老闆前台那些都是中國人，就算是老撾人的話，也會説中文溝通起來一點也不困難，真的很方便，他家真的超級推薦我住了好幾天，體驗都非常好，兄弟們，無腦沖就完事了。

I recently had the pleasure of staying at anlan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. Every corner of my room was spotless, and the attention to detail was remarkable. It felt like I was the first guest to ever stay in that room! The bed was incredibly comfortable, with fresh, crisp linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. Manyo Hotel and Resort is a new and lovely place to relax in Luang Prabang, Laos. The rooms are spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile. One of the highlights of the resort is the swimming pool, which makes the complex even more beautiful. The location is also good, it’s not on the famous street but is very close to all the attractions. Also, you can rent a motorbike with them and they will bring it to the door, which is very convenient. If you are looking for a place to stay in Luang Prabang, this resort is definitely a great choice!

Not much to say, which is rather positive. As advertised. The location was convenient without being crowded. The hotel itself was charming and relaxing. The restaurant offered a good mix of options with a wide range of affordable local dishes and some western alternatives. Both were good choices. The cleaning staff were efficient. And the service was great. There was always someone available to help, happily. The spa was surprisingly cheap for an in-house spa, but still maintained standards across the board. The shuttle, which never required any waiting time, was useful. I guess there was a bit to say, all positive. Would comfortably recommend.

酒店的裝修軟硬件設施沒的說，早餐單點但品質很好。因為是家庭帶娃入住，分配的房間感覺整體偏暗，孩子洗澡會有些害怕；房間沒有電視，泳池偏小，酒店整體佔地麪積偏小，沒有建身房，可玩性不高。訂的是三人間，帶孩子加床還要加價800人民幣，一晚4500，感覺性價比稍低，不是適合親子的酒店。更適合英文好的，方便與管家溝通獲取更多酒店增值服務的信息的情侶入住。

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

It’s a boutique hotel, interior is very beautiful inside and also this was introduced to Newyork Times magazine. However, location of the hotel was quite a bit far from DT but there’s a buggy car to bring you there from time to time. I guess it’s every hour on the hour. Service is not bad but not the best.

PPengguna TetamuI cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!

JJason2023Nice setting with lotus ponds and bridge, lots of trees, flowers, gravel winding paths and hidden seating areas. The pool is small but had lots of available comfy seating and was very clean. Breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the service and food were excellent. The menu has lots of options. Excellent service from reception to housekeeping - the complimentary water, fruit baskets and night time cookies were appreciated. Free bicycle hire and reception can organise trips. The location is okay, a 5-10 minute walk to the main area but that gives you an experience of local life as you pass through the narrow streets. There was some road noise - motorbikes etc but im not sure where you can avoid this in Luang Prabang or even SE Asia. If you are bothered by it, ear plugs will be useful. No noise from any neighbours. The room was a good size with a big balcony overlooking the gardens. Lots of stuff provided e.g toiletries, safe, tea, 3 in 1 coffee - you don't need to bring. (Cant remember seeing a razor but tbh hotel ones are never good so i bring my own). TIP: try not to rely on ATMs here, the charges are expensive. HHaniniLOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Everyone is super nice and helpful. The guys at the front desk will always tell you what extra things to do! They have a booklet with all the activities offered around town for your reference to book, and can easily book it through them. They have a nice river view restaurant where their breakfast is served. Anything you want is available and made on the spot. I’m so glad I stayed here and looking forward to coming back already…

Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, beim Frühstück kann man zwischen verschiedenen Optionen wählen. Wasser, Kaffee und Tee gibt es kostenlos. Roller, Touren und Transfers können ebenfalls direkt vor Ort gebucht werden. Das WLAN könnte in den Zimmern etwas besser sein. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

YYeeMonThe room is pretty clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant. An absolute 5 stars for location because it’s close to everywhere and you can just walk around if you like. I only have an issue with their tour service. I booked a private tuk tuk to Kuang Si waterfall and everything was fine. However, for the Pak Ou Cave and whiskey village tour, I paid 250k kip as you can see on the receipt. As per the receptionist who helped me booked, the price included all the transportation fees such as pick up from the villa and boat ride. On the day itself, the tuk tuk came 10 mins late to pick me up and waited for other people to arrive at the pier. For your information, from the villa to the pier is about 7 mins ride. After a while, I got on the boat and a staff asked another 30k kip for the ride. And there wasn’t any pick up at the pier when I got back from the cave. So basically, it’s like I paid 250k kip for the 7 mins tuk tuk ride and I wanted to clarify about that. But I didn’t get to meet the same receptionist until I checked out. Overall, it was a total scam and a waste of money. If you are planning to stay there, try not to use those services as they are so overpriced and not worth the money at all.

KK.-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded. -The room is super clean. -The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area. It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.
