Side Star Elegance Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

Stayed here for 7 days with Jet2. The first impressions were good. Reception staff were good and helpful bell boys at this hotel. Got to our room, not so impressed. Jet 2 images do not match up so called Reception as the room was overlooking a busy road in block 2 1st floor, so they kindly moved us to the 3rd floor less noise. But images don't match up but are still nice, clean, comfortable with mini bar included as well as robes and slippers mini bar restocked every day. PLEASE ASK FOR A HIGH FLOOR Please note that this place is huge. You get given a map on arrival. 2 heated pools, one outdoor one indoor. Used indoor one very nice clean. 30⁰c 1 main restaurant food was good, fresh, and very varied deserts are to die for. Staff are attentive and helpful. There are multiple options for drinks, eg., time out bar 24h a day also serving food throughout the day. Duden bar open daily til 0130 off Peak And small piano bar next to lobby. We visited Duden Bar and was so much fun, especially as the bar man MURAT was so nice and chatty an asset to this hotel. Thank you to him for an enjoyable evening. There is evening entertainment, but we didn't go to anything, but there are various options for activities during the day There is an outside bar and eating place but was closed most days due to weather. Please note they love cats here and do roam the hotel. Most are friendly, but do not feed them as the hotel has a feeding station for them. There is a private beach area and outdoor pools and slides Next to the beach, there is a 3.5km walkway taking you to the old town. It is very nice, takes you to apollos Temple, but the amphitheatre is closed for 2 years for renovations Overall, I have had a good experience in Side Star Elegance. I visited during off peak, so was a reasonable price

We stayed the week over Christmas 22-29th December, family with 2 kids aged 4&10. To begin the hotel is an hour away from the airport. It was a quick and easy check in and we were given a room in block 3 which was perfect overlooking the pool. The room had 2 separate bed areas but with a very open bathroom. The room wasn't near the main road so was quiet. Ideal for families. The resort is huge! It has many amenities like most of the Turkish resorts but alot of it is closed in the winter. Poor weather meant that all the bars and snack bars by the lower pools and beach were closed. There was a heated outdoor pool we managed to use once. Plus points: indoor pool is a good size and you can still use the sauna/steam room in the spa. The arcade room has a free pool table and a bowling alley for a reasonable price. The timeout bar was great with lovely pizzas and a few other dishes daily. The staff were are friendly and helpful. German is spoken more easily than English but they do try. The not so good: the main buffet restaurant could be better. The food was plentiful but not delicious ( by my taste) they had lots of options but not stuff that went together and due to the size of the restaurant you had to walk around to find bits. Eg rice far away from curry like dishes. Late breakfast starts at 10am but by this time they were already packing away the breads and fruits. Branded drinks have to be asked for and there are not that many options but we still found things we liked. We had unusually bad weather with constant heavy rains and although it's not the hotels fault we felt the entertainment team could have done more with guests indoors in the huge complex. They had an indoor cinema but did not advertise the movies that were showing on the day and the times. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they had a special Christmas Eve programme including pre dinner drinks with carol singers and Santa. A wonderful Xmas meal and a live band in the evening. Christmas day itself felt just like another day with nothing going on. We tried the fish, Turkish & Chinese restaurants and they were all lovely! Really recommend your book them early. Having been to a few ultra all incs, I don't think this resort hits that mark yet or at least in the winter season.

Excellently located hotel close to the ancient town of Side ( itself a jewel). Spotlessly clean with an excellent staff. Nothing was too much bother. This is an all inclusive hotel - the food was excellent and varied. Our room was a good size and the pools were exceptionally well maintained as were the gardens. We stayed two weeks and loved every minute. This was our second time at the hotel and we will be back. Highly recommended.

Just back from our second visit to Side Star Elegance. The room was amazing, so was the food and the staff are really friendly. We love the spa area and had an amazing Hamma wash and massage. Side old town is in walking distance with some good value shops.

My wife and I had 28 wonderful days at this outstanding beachside 5 star hotel. The food was outstanding, views wonderful, our room was clean and large. The entertainment was varied and interesting. ELIF a lady in the Animation team was always friendly and supportive. We flew with excellent Jet2cairlines from Manchester.

This is the second time I've been to this hotel and i still can't find a fault with the staff, facilities. This is 5 star all the way. The guest relations team led by Krystyna and assisted by Ceren, can't do enough to make your stay any better. Well done Krystyna and team. The restaurant and Al a carte restaurant are superb. The wating staff are friendly and are always smiling and helpful. I used the Time Out bar a lot. ZAFER the barmen. Is amazing the quality and his service was deserving of more then 5 stars.
