Hotel 5 Bintang Terbaik di Siem Reap

Apologies in advance for the long review but hopefully it will contextualise the review title! Booked to stay for three nights, hotel reached out in advance to arrange airport transfer (no charge) and my transfer was there ready and waiting when I landed with water and a cold towel. Arrived at the hotel and received a lovely welcome drink and nibbles. Staff were extremely warm and friendly, taking lots of time to explain everything about the hotel. The room was clean and of a very good standard, I’d deliberately opted for a room that wasn’t pool facing as I suspected it would be quieter facing away from the road. Reality is I don’t know for sure if there was any real difference but the room was very quiet and comfortable. Can’t say I missed the pool view. Room had very good Wi-Fi so was able to work one morning. Air con super effective. Netflix on the tv. Great rain shower with lots of pressure. I had a sun-rise tour booked so the hotel arranged a takeaway breakfast of my choice for me. Again ready at the time they said it would be (4am as per my request). The spa in the hotel (read massages and treatment) was brilliant. Can’t again rate it more highly and would definitely recommend. For us foreigners it’s incredibly affordable compared to back home. Complimentary lunch organised by the hotel was also superb. Hotel is within walking distance (5 mins) to the more touristy food streets and markets. Area felt extremely safe. Return airport transfer (again free) exactly on time as agreed. Honestly you can’t take clear communication and hotel organisation for granted. The staff customer service is amazing . I would say beyond expectations. They were so accommodating, they allowed us to check in very early as we had morning flight and check out late as our flight was late evening. They would recommend any customised travel itinerary as well as transportation. The breakfast although starts at 6:30am , they arrange it early even at 4am to accommodate our early morning sunrise plan. Thanks a lot.

Amazing. Awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We came 3 hours early (during off tourist season) and they checked us in and took us to our room immediately. They gave us a free 15 min foot massage, which we added to our “happy hour 60 min massage” ($30USD).. it was heavenly. They had the most wonderful, helpful staff members anywhere you went in the hotel. The pool was beautiful and incredible. We went every day we were there. You get so much more for what you pay for in USD here. My mom and I felt like royalty!! Thank you so much Sokha Angkor Resort, you are the best!

Sort of sub-par actually, unusual because I've stayed here before & it's normally great. But the price has gone up & there was no hot water. It seems silly to offer a bathtub that can't hold water or can't be filled with hot water. But the pool is still nice and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

I booked 4 rooms at the Boutique but the immediately moved me to the Golden Temple Residence next door. To be honest, the photos of the ”luxury suite” on my booking at the boutique looked a lot nicer than the room I stayed at next door at the Residence. Staff are super nice and friendly, also the spa is very well priced and offer great services. The pool was super nice, and the staff are there if you want a drink in the pool. The breakfast was also decent, but I think it lacked a lot of main course breakfasts foods.

Everything about this place is top-notch and wonderful! The staff are very friendly, accomodating, and helpful. The rooms are lovely, the pool area is spectacular and the whole place has a very peaceful and welcoming ambiance. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of delicious foods and we chose to have our evening meal here every night as well. The dinners were delicious and very reasonably priced! I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, and Metta Residence and Spa is at the very top of my list of favourite places to stay. I will be back for sure! Thank you so very much!

This is a 5 star hotel in central Siem Reap. It is luxurious but not pretentious. Though the classic room is their ”starter” room, it was superb. We were two adults and a child. The boy slept on the sofa and they provided bedding at no charge. Our bed was extremely comfortable. The room was elegant but not pretentious integrating a lot of wood and granite. Two arm chairs with foot rests made our stay most comfortable. Staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The breakfast for two days was a fixed menu, then buffet. Plenty of western and Asian options. Real bacon too. The location is central and their are tuk tuks waiting outside all the time.. Everything is within a $1 to $2 tuk tuk ride. We let the hotel arrange our tuk tuk temple tours to our specifications. The driver was a great guy, and provided iced water and iced towels Their price was the same as two other tuk tuk drivers who I emailed. They also arranged airport taxis (not free). We agreed that this was the best hotel experience we've had in Asia. I highly recommend this hotel, and it is one we would return too, which we don't often do. For the quality, the rates are extremely good value

I would like thank you FCC Angkor staff have a friendly service and they have a welcome drink and we got a free upgrade for the room the location very convenient and  walkable to local food and about 1 km to night Market

My sister and I had a lovely time (4 days) in Seam Reap, especially enjoyed fabulous breakfast. The Lotus Blanc Resort’s staff is great and very gentle. Mr Chiva is very enthusiastic and tries his best to meet our needs. 
The travel desk organized very well all we needed and wanted to do. Hats off to our driver Sothat who was super kind, thoughtful and attentive. Whenever we come out after visiting the scenic spots, cold towels and mineral water will be provided to us. In addition, he is very knowledgeable. We are very happy to spend a pleasant holiday here! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.
