What a marvelous inn, vineyard, and farm! We so enjoyed the amazing, hilltop views of Tuscany and the peaceful, historic setting. Meals at the restaurant were authentic and delicious, and all of the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We easily went to the Siena city center for an afternoon tour of the cathedral. After tasting the locally made chianti and olive oil, we bought some bottles that will be shipped home, which is handy. In sum, it was a great stay, we are planning our next visit, and in the meantime, we will recommend La Torre Alle Tolfe to our family and friends!

The villa is situated on a hillside with wonderful views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. Perfect location for a visit to the old city of Sienna. Our bedroom was large and had a sitting area. The restaurant was busy, so it is advisable to reserve a table for the evening. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our two-night stopover. Our GPS took us along an unmade road to the south of the villa, be sure to take the other route which is an asphalt access road.

We have been visiting Tuscany for 25 years and La Torre stands worthy comparison with every other place we have stayed. We stayed in the tower suite which is a unique experience with stunning views from the roof top terrace, although there are 60 steps to the top so it wouldn’t be suited to everyone. Breakfast is simple, nothing more. Dinner is offered on the terrace above the pool. There is a reasonable choice of locally sourced ingredients. A special shout out to the waiting staff who all seemed to be students but they did an excellent job. A special mention to Vincenzo (who is a medical student) but without whom the restaurant would have ground to a halt. The local wine is excellent and reasonably priced. The grounds are quiet with plenty of space although the area immediately around the pool is quite small. There are too few sun loungers for the rooms available but we always managed to get one. Siena is close by as is the main Siena - Florence dual carriageway so location is accessible. There is no fitted air conditioning, although they did provide a standalone machine. There is also no TV and WiFi is patchy at best but neither is essential to us. There is a kettle in the room but, surprisingly, a complimentary bottle of water is not provided each day which would be nice. Overall would thoroughly recommend and would go back. There are many “posher” places we have stayed in and been disappointed and have not thought we got value for money.

What an incredible gem! The villa is quite large but quiet and spacious. Views incredible every direction. Food at breakfast and in restaurant was out of this world, fresh, unique, delicious. We took the Olive Oil tasting tour with Marni, and we learned so much about the history, agriculture, olive oil. Incredible. The property is unbelievably beautiful. We are already planning to return!!

The setting is quiet and peaceful, beautiful views and an intricate property where every room is unique. There are multiple common areas indoors and outdoors all with comfy spots to lounge or socialize, and great areas to simply walk around and enjoy all of the natural beauty within and beyond the property. In the mornings you can feed the animals before enjoying a delicious breakfast, in the afternoons you can walk through the herb gardens or enjoy the pool, and in the evenings you can drink their privately produced wine and enjoy their olive oil with delicious dinner selections at their restaurant. All of their staff is friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was very intimate and personal. We loved our stay and look forward to having another one in the future.

The property pictures are 100% accurate. The room was sparkling clean and so was the pool area (water and lounge). We were happy to enjoy the quiet there. I don’t recall hearing any disturbing noise at all. The staff is very friendly, helpful and strict when it comes to health regulation. Masks were worn at all times. I liked the fact that no one was allowed to touch the breakfast food. You were served by the staff, who was wearing gloves at all times. 10€ taxi ride from Sienna to the property. Taxi usually gets there in 7-10 minutes. We always found a car when needed, which was great! The food at the restaurant was exceptional! They serve gourmet dishes, so set the right expectations when it comes to portions.

After spending time in the hustle and bustle and Florence and Rome, this secluded getaway was much needed. It is situated on top of a hill with amazing views of wineries and beautiful green fields. This is a family-owned farm and they live onsite. Once we got there we did not leave. We fed the animals with the owners and lounged by the peaceful pool. The view from our room was incredible and the food at the restaurant and breakfast was from their farm and it was delicious. We only spent one night here and we regret not booking more nights here. We definitely want to come back again. Thank you!

the most amazing and relaxing place I have been in years. Staff couldn't be more helpful, room (ask for the Unicorn room) was large with HUGE views and extremely comfortable, tour of winery with tasting was very interesting (the history and underground cellars from Etruscan times) with wine tasting from estate bottled wines, the included breakfast out on the terrace was great (meats/cheeses, cakes, eggs, fresh fruit, homemade marmalades and yogurt, pastries/breads, great coffee) and dinner a their restaurant served al fresco with fresh foods from their farm or local area (they even make their own olive oil!). The views from the entire property were breathtaking, especially late one afternoon while watching a thunder and lightning storm move across the hills while drinking a homemade bottle of their wine while looking out from one of their covered terraces. Can't say enough about this agritourisimo. I do know that when we had to leave we really di not want to. We will be back!!!!

Great atmospheric family run hotel that has bags of character. Room had lots of rustic charm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good location as close to Siena and the surrounding outstanding Tuscan countryside. Hotel grounds are lovely and the vistas in all directions make the location really insta friendly. Worth checking out as an option in this part of the world.
