The Como just gets it right. I stay here frequently for business and I must say Accor's frequent stayer program is the best. This hotel always recognises my status, I love my free drink voucher which I use to get a coffee in the morning. The rooms are quiet, large and clean. Location is excellent and sometimes I get upgraded, the rooms with little outdoor courtyards are amazing.

I had an amazing stay at Olsen Art Series in South Yarra. Ulia was so friendly during check-in and did well at recognising my gold status. I was ecstatic when I was upgraded to room 608, which had a kitchenette and was located on a high floor. The pool was lovely, and I really enjoyed the welcome amenity, which was my favorite Pinot wine. They allowed me to check out later, which was really helpful. The rate was great, and the hotel is located in a really fun part of town. The sheets were comfortable, and I loved that there was complimentary water. The hotel is also near the train station. Housekeeping did an amazing job, and the only feedback I have is that the towels could be fluffier and the sink enamel is starting to peel. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! Letitia C

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ovolo South Yarra. Such a cool, funky hotel! The perks were great and the bed was so comfortable. All of the staff were lovely. My boyfriend loves art so we really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the cool art and decor. Very happy, fun vibe. Great location as well which suited us perfectly as we planned to have drinks with friends in Chapel Street that night. We were able to wander around and check out a near by gallery, Prahran market and various shops on Chapel Street. They also have a check out time of 11.00 which was so good as we find the check out time at most hotels is too early and its always a rush to get packed, shower and get ready, have breakfast and get out the door. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay. :)

The location is GREAT. This is like a 5 mins walk from the South Yarra station, really pleasant neighbourhood. Safe. The rooms had no attached bath, I thought it did my mistake when I booked it. So there are 4 shared baths on one floor of maybe 20+ rooms. During Covid occupancy is low so I guess this was ok but I cannot imagine how crowded it might get when travel were per normal. By the night time, the toilets are pretty dirty and usually a clump of hair at the showers. Also note that there is no airconditioning for the rooms. I was there in late Jan and it was really warm. There were 2 fans but it was just circulating warm air, and mind you I come from sunny Singapore so I am used to heat. I was on level 2 so did not dare to sleep with the windows opened because someone really could just climb in, there is no grill nor net. It is a charming old house but I think probably not value for money. I had a single room for myself.

Stayed here for four nights with my girlfriend. Ideal location for getting around the city. Lot's of facilities close by too (eating places and shops). In all, I am happy and would stay here again. My only grumble was the wifi speed/stability (it kept dipping too). In the end I bought a SIM card.

The apartment was spacious, very well appointed, clean, quiet and fabulously located in the heart of South Yarra. Free parking and easy strolling distance to trains and trams to the city or the culinary delights of the area. We loved the funky design and great facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our midweek stay was great value too. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Pros - Pet-friendly room available - Clean rooms - Pretty comfy beds and pillows with fresh linen (felt clean) - Comes with Netflix - Had a dishwasher (but on the loud side when it gets going) - Lots of food places deliver to the area Cons - Not all rooms are pet-friendly. I believe it's only the 2-bedroom apartment that's designated for pets. (Worked for us, but may be an issue for others.) I suggest you ring when booking with a pet. - No lift available. (An issue if you're disabled -- which I am -- and if you're lugging around many pieces of luggage -- which we were. Our room was on the top floor, which was three flights up.) - Smoke alarm went off for no reason at one point. (Seemed like it wasn't the first time it's done this as one of the other guests commented that it's happened to him, too.) - Had a (loud) washing machine, but no dryer. (We were on a long road trip and needed to do laundry, so this was a bit of a bummer.) - Tiny kitchen - Only one bathroom in the 2-bedroom apartment

Conveniently located among great places to eat. Probably worth the money, and has mostly everything you’d need. But a little dirty and tired. The bed sheets are my biggest complaint. When two single beds are pushed together to make a large double, the sheets just don’t fit, you end up with feet on a bare mattress. Not very hygienic. We found the front desk staff all very friendly and polite.
