The Swan Inn

非常好，房東很熱情。門口有公交直達市中心，但打uber有可能需要提前一會兒。

My brother and his friend have just got home from staying at this hotel. The hotel was absolutely excellent because the staff (Jackie the Landlady in particular) were amazing and very helpful and kind because my brother has a disability (very vulnerable with special needs) A huge Thank you! for making him feel welcome and for going that extra mile to cater for his needs. Another lady called Kim or Kate was also great! The hotel was clean (spotless), comfortable beds, warm, smart TV etc and very friendly and met all their needs over the weekend. There's also a bus stop outside which makes this hotel a very convenient location near to Southampton City Centre. My brother and his friend hope to stay here again in the future. Many thanks.

It was a nice place to try out while during a local walk around my hometown. I had a good drink of Guinness Zero as well. Also, we’re having a bit of a chat, including about the new pedestrian crossing that took place after construction happened. Anyway, nice place.

Pretty basic pub/hotel. No breakfast or food provided. Room was clean and little shower room OK. We did know before we went that the pub did not provide food. There is a garage over the road with a Londis shop which was useful. The room was quiet as we were on the back.

While all the other hotels at Southampton were very expensive during our stay, The Swan Inn was only 90£ for a room with an on suite shower. We usually stay at big chain hotels so weren’t sure what we’ll get, but decided to give it a shot and don’t regret it! The rooms have everything you need and a great TV, very quiet (especially considering the location), and the owner is absolutely lovely. Thanks a lot to her. We’ll come back if we are in Southampton again.

The Swan Inn is located in Sholing and is a short downhill walk away from Sholing station. Woolston station is around three quarters of a mile distant on foot. The rooms are located in a block adjacent to the pub and I was able to acquire the room with en suite facilities. It contained a large double bed, a decent shower and tea & coffee making facilities. I spent a comfortable night here although there is no facility for breakfast. I had a complimentary night courtesy of ********** so only paid £14 for tax for one night.
