The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a lovely balcony offering serene mountain views—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

This hotel was chosen due to its quiet location 15min Didi ride away from crowded West street but walking distance to beautiful Gongnong bridge, ten-mile gallery where you can enjoy staring at the beautiful Karst landscape and ebike along ten mile gallery along YuLong river where many bamboo rafting piers are located. My daughter and i rent e-bikes beside our homestay, each of us paid Rmb30 per e-bike per day to explore Ten-mile gallery along YuLong river for about 3h+. It was an adventurous ride even when we were riding an ebike for the first time. This hotel provides free breakfast, tea break snacks and supper dessert. We either use ******* for online food delivery or just Didi to West street for meals. Amenities include a free enclosed karaoke kiosk which you can ask the reception to switch on the aircon for you. Free Laundry includes 2 washer but 1 dryer. The staff meet all our needs as requested e.g more bottles of water, clear choked toilet bowl immediately, smoke-free treatment if not satisfied with the smell, housekeeping immediately if needed. Hotel also provides free upgrade to our room thank them so much. kitchen staff was willing to help give us plastic bags to pack some breakfast as we need to check out at 640am. A little souvenir Luohanguo were given. And all the above at an affordable price of $31 per night so it was great for me.

I seldom write good reviews.but kayumanis has exceeded all my expectations. It is classy, luxurious, and the staff are well trained and hospitable. It gives you the relaxing vibes, attentive services, blending well with the scenic, quiet and peaceful environment. It is a MUST GO hotel in china.

I really have nothing but great things to say about this place but I should start with this- staying here is perfect if you want to immerse in nature and quiet scenery. It’s probably not the best place to stay if you want to visit every tourist attraction and restaurant in town etc. it’s about 10 mins to the downtown so really not that inconvenient either way but it is so peaceful and authentic it’s the best way to get away from city life for a long weekend and breathe some fresh air. The boss and staff are amazing and even took us on a hike to see the sunset from a nearby mountain. The food was GREAT. Would def stay here again.

Sugar House was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere special. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with its historic surroundings in a way that feels both unique and peaceful. Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable, with stunning views over the karst landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yangshuo. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, and every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was beautifully prepared using excellent local ingredients. Everything was consistently excellent and a real highlight of our stay. What really elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. They assisted us in arranging transport and offered excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding area, making everything effortless. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded, yet within easy reach of Yangshuo’s incredible scenery. We spent the day rafting on the Yulong River, visiting Fuli Bridge, Moon Hill and Xingping, before returning to relax by the beautiful riverside pool each evening. It was the ideal balance of adventure and tranquillity. Sugar House is much more than a luxury hotel; it is a destination in its own right. We left wishing we had booked an extra night and would not hesitate to return. It is a truly exceptional place that we will remember for a very long time.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Qingshan Yunshe, earth village in a group of 2 families with 3 kids. Simple clean rooms as shown in pictures, a big projector, loaded with cartoon and movie content. Kids also loved the KTV, small childrens play area and video games arcade area. Super freindly and helpful staff at front desk addressed all our queries, arranged massage, scooter rental. Can arrange taxi rentals and tours too. Laundry, ironing, snacks, bottled water, traditional dress and afternoon tea were available for free. Convenient location, just 10 mins walk to west street. Supermarkets on the opposite side, a resturant that could cater to our vegan needs right below the hotel. Its a great budget friendly choice to explore Yangshou!

Very family friendly, our toddler loved seeing all the animals and got to feed the peacocks, ducks, fish and the geese! Also very lucky we got to upgrade to a villa for a great price. We also really enjoyed the onsite photoshoot and had many meals at Minyue restaurant 🥰 A big thank you to 小管家Joss for all your help! We had excellent service during our stay and you made it extra special. Will definitely come back and recommend to all our family and friends ☺️☺️

Simple hotel that is centrally located and 10 minutes’ walk from West Street. The plus point is the room’s cleanliness. Other than that, there are quite a few areas I would like to highlight which I feel the property could have been clearer and more transparent in its listing. Breakfast is simple and nothing to shout about. They actually extend the dining hours into lunchtime and advertise it as “local speciality lunch” provided, which to me is misleading. The supposed afternoon tea was also similarly disappointing and looks sad,. The rooftop pool is too shallow and short for a real swim and is actually just for taking photos (the accompanying swing does help with that) - this was not evident from the photos provided by the property. The gym is also disappointing as it is tucked away within the laundry room, and consists of merely a treadmill and exercise bike, both of which look untouched and unserviced for the longest time. Don’t think they should be allowed to call this as a “fitness centre” in all honesty.r

Our stay at ShiXi TianYue Riverview Hotel was absolutely flawless, and every detail reflected high quality. Stunning Sunrise View: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the sunrise seen directly from my room. Watching the first light hit the winding River and the layered karst peaks was a truly priceless visual experience. High-Quality Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea was exquisite. With a perfect balance of sweet and savory treats made from fresh ingredients, it was such a sophisticated way to relax by the river. Savory Breakfast: The breakfast was equally impressive! There was a wide variety of authentic choices, from traditional rice noodles to delicate pastries. You can tell the chef puts a lot of heart into every dish. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout. If you're looking for the ultimate combination of river views and culinary delights, this is the place to be!

Great location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.
