"We absolutely loved our stay! The room was amazing, and the bathroom with the panoramic view made it feel truly special. The rooftop pool was великолепent, and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us rent a scooter and even taught us how to ride it. They also kindly cut up fruit for us whenever we asked and gave us a lot of useful help with getting around the city. The hotel also provides an iron, washing machine, and dryer, which was a huge advantage during our long trip. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Special thanks to the receptionist who checked us in — the chubby guy with glasses working the evening shift — and also to the girl with glasses who works in the mornings. Both of them provided outstanding service and made our stay even more memorable!"

"If you want private entry and a good place to take photo. Yes this is the place to go. However there are couple of things that we encountered that we felt could have been much better for the price. 1. The lobby and reception was chaotic. Nobody attended to anyone and it just seems like a free for all. But eventually we checked in not too long later, just a bit chaotic. 2. For travelling family we went for one of their best rooms. Despite more than 4 adults they only offered 1 afternoon tea set to share. Seems a little weird because we could have just gotten two rooms instead. 3. Breakfast voucher : a weird implementation that doesn’t justify the sense of luxury you would expect from here. You just get asked for voucher again and again after handing it over. Daily voucher mind you. 4. The room is slightly underwhelming. Take away the view and it has nothing but a big compound for other activities. That’s all. It’s also more dated than expected. Wear and tear are very obvious. 5. The AI works in some smaller boutique better than this. Only one room has the AI control. Other rooms and living room has none. Few great things about this place 1. Laundry. 2. The staffs actually put in effort to attend to everyone. Very responsive to chats. 3. We requested for slightly late checkout as the kids are not feeling well and they granted it out of courtesy considering there are no occupants checking in on the same day."

If I could, I would leave 10 comments to explain how exceptional this hotel is. Fist, the host is the friendliest person I ever met. She speaks good English and helped us to prepare the program to visit Yuangshuo. She suggested us places we would never find ourselves and it made our stay incredible. The hotel also rent brand new scooters for 40 yuan only. She also helped us to get back the sweater we forgot in our previous hotel and organised the delivery. Secondly, the hotel very cozy. You can enjoy the view on mountains directly from your balcony. The reception has many cute cats and the dog. I don’t suggest people travelling with big luggage’s to choose the smallest type of room, but with my boyfriend we were backpacking so it didn’t cause any inconvenience. Finally, I want to highlight all the small intentions you will find. You can ask for all toiletries you can imagine (even sunscreen that can be very useful). There are fruits, snacks and good coffee in the morning. One day the host gifted us face masks and beauty kit. Thanks a lot one more time, you made our stay an incredible!

The staff offers thoughtful and attentive service, promptly noticing and meeting guests' needs. Electric bikes are available for rent at 30 RMB per day for easy travel, and cycling routes are kindly recommended. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and night dessert are provided. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning mountain views. The hotel enjoys a great location close to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery. The front desk can also arrange trips to Xianggong Mountain, ideal for exploring Yangshuo thoroughly. Overall, it delivers an excellent staying experience.

This place is impeccable: 1. Our concierge literally responded in less than 5 minutes EVERY TIME. Whenever we need to go somewhere, they called a cart for us almost immediately. They also responded to other nuances quickly, such as hot water, WiFi, everyday issues. 2. The breakfast and afternoon tea are amazing. Everything is FRESHLY made, not pre-packaged food. We, a bunch of 20+’s, fell in love with their chips and fried fish. The fried fish is so good! 3. What really impressed us was that we left an AirPod in the room - they informed us almost immediately before we left. Very honest and attentive people! 4. When we left, the rain was pouring - they were really helpful on loading the luggages, even in very heavy rain to our car. Even with such impeccable services, they never came to bother us “give us a good review on the platform”. So I can assume all reviews here are very honest. Not to mention the beautiful views and the clean pools. We’d definitely come back again!

I really have nothing but great things to say about this place but I should start with this- staying here is perfect if you want to immerse in nature and quiet scenery. It’s probably not the best place to stay if you want to visit every tourist attraction and restaurant in town etc. it’s about 10 mins to the downtown so really not that inconvenient either way but it is so peaceful and authentic it’s the best way to get away from city life for a long weekend and breathe some fresh air. The boss and staff are amazing and even took us on a hike to see the sunset from a nearby mountain. The food was GREAT. Would def stay here again.

🌿🥰🔥 DELIGHT!!!! OH MY GAD!!! A premium hotel! 100% privacy with nature! The hotel's design is so thoughtful that you feel right at home! Built in an old sugar factory, it makes a huge impression! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE HOTEL STAFF, JACK!!! He should be the hotel manager!!! He is so sociable and always helped me and told me everything. Thanks to him, I have the best vacation and very delicious pasta!!) Wonderful hotel employee LUCY is simply charming, she immediately signed me up for a ride on bamboo rafts and did a fireworks display 🎆!!!! She told me everything about the history of the hotel and I bought the book!!!! I dream of building a hotel in Russia!!! And this trip was a great inspiration for me!!!!! Huge rooms and the best Guilin Rice Noodles! A great choice in Yangshuo! The hotel is in a quiet area but just a short walk from West Street. My room was massive and very comfortable. The staff are the best part of this hotel—they are so kind and saved me money by booking my tours at a lower price. They also help me arrange carpool when I was leaving for Guilin. I really enjoyed the breakfast set meal, especially the Guilin Rice Noodles. It’s a simple, flavorful way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again!

I had an enjoyable stay at Bayan Tree. The Hotel has a lot of facilities that is suitable to both adults and kids. There are some cute pet alpaca, ducks and peacocks where you can feed them. Staff are welcoming and friendly. They have a butler service which is exceptional. Chad is our bulter and he responded to our questions instantly and handled our request professionally. Breakfast is good and comes with a good variety of choices. Overall speaking, I had a great time here at Banyan Tree.

Simple hotel that is centrally located and 10 minutes’ walk from West Street. The plus point is the room’s cleanliness. Other than that, there are quite a few areas I would like to highlight which I feel the property could have been clearer and more transparent in its listing. Breakfast is simple and nothing to shout about. They actually extend the dining hours into lunchtime and advertise it as “local speciality lunch” provided, which to me is misleading. The supposed afternoon tea was also similarly disappointing and looks sad,. The rooftop pool is too shallow and short for a real swim and is actually just for taking photos (the accompanying swing does help with that) - this was not evident from the photos provided by the property. The gym is also disappointing as it is tucked away within the laundry room, and consists of merely a treadmill and exercise bike, both of which look untouched and unserviced for the longest time. Don’t think they should be allowed to call this as a “fitness centre” in all honesty.r

Great location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.
