Hotel Bologna dengan Spa

Two stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

They gave us a family room outside of the main building of the hotel. So, we exposed the voice coming from the street. The room was large enough but at the first glance we felt a little bit unsafe, but it was OK. However, there was a draft of cold air in the room that we could not locate, Croissants at the breakfast were the worst I have ever tasted. Please change your supplier. Stuff was kind and helpful.

Everyone would agree that they don't want to let others know where they like very much. This hotel provides pleasure and comfort, as evidenced by the friendly expressions on the staff. The spacious room and large bathtub are enough to relieve fatigue throughout the day, and I like the restaurant food. The proximity to the train station gives good transportation access. You may think the facility is a little old, but there is no inconvenience at all. Above all, I liked the bed. One thing is regrettable that there were no free drinks in the room.

The hotel was really clean. It was a really comfortable room and stay. It was located on the 30-minute bus, but the bus stop was close!

Bologna is a city for walkers, and Falegnami Boutique Suites is perfect for this. There are a couple of apartments here, and we (partner and I), stayed in the smaller one for three nights. An easy walk from Bologna main train station, although dragging cases over the cobble stones and rain-soaked slippery marble paths was interesting! (But that was not the fault of Falegnami Suites.) Location is great, just off the main drag, and close to good restaurants, cafes and bars. Check in was easy – we received clear instructions via text / SMS on how to get in from the street, to accessing the apartment keys and where the apartment was. The apartment was spotless, and well appointed. Although we ate out each evening, we self-catered for breakfast and picnic lunches and whatever we needed was in the apartment. Bed was super comfortable, and the area is quiet at night – we slept with the windows open. The washing machine was much appreciated. Thanks. Cate

Un ottima struttura, qualità prezzo eccellente ottima per chi va alla fiera di Bologna, più scomoda per chi deve visitare la città. Fermata mezzi pubblici nei pressi dell'hotel ma con un servizio a dire poco catastrofico, con ritardi pesanti e ripetuti, difficile poi fare il biglietto a bordo se non hai monete, le carte vengono accettate solo alcune e, oggi carta può fare un solo biglietto. I controllori se vi trovano senza ticket non vogliono sentire ragioni e vi fanno un a multa di 75 euro, servizio vergognoso per una città così bella e ricca.

I had a reservation made directly in this hotel. It was recommended by some friends. About 2 weeks before my planned stay, I was reached by Paolo from CDH Hotel Bologna front office, with the information that the central office management had decided to close the hotel for a few days, and that included the day of my reservation. Within 24hrs Paolo called me back after having found for me a better accommodation in a close by hotel at the exact same rate. This is what I call customer service! Thank you. I will for sure come back again to try your rooms!

We stayed during a fair which results in much higher prices than necessary. Good hotel with a strong staff. Shout out to front desk and bartender. Nina was fabulous and her food recommendations were great The hotel’s location is ok. Not great or bad. If driving then plenty of parking
