EIN HOTEL WO MAN SICH WOHL GEFÜHLT! Als ich mit meiner Frau Line im Jahre 1974 zum ersten Mal mit der Flämischen Reisegesellschaft VTB in Innichen im Hochpustertal eintroffen, hatten wir nie geglaubt dass wir im August/September 2018, also nach 44 Jahren, unseren 70. Aufenthalt im 400 Jahren alten Wirsthaus ”Zum Weissen Rössl feiern wurden. Das wir immer wieder nach Innichen gekommen sind hat viele Gründe. Das 4 Sterne Superior Hotel ”Weisses Rössl” liegt im historischen und verkehrsfreien Dorfskern von Innichen, nur wenige Minuten entfernt vom Skigebiet Haunold mit Abfahrt direkt im Ort wo schöne Geschäfte zum Einkaufen laden. Das Hotel das seit Generationen im Besitz der Familie Kühebacher ist wird ausgezeichnet geführt von ihren Gastwirten Hannes und Renate Kühebacher mit Tochter Barbara. Das Hotel hat ein Hallenbad, 4 Saunen, Heubäder, Fitness, Kinosaal....kurzum alles was man von einem erholsamen Aufenthalt erwarten darf. Besonders sind das Speisen- und Weinangebot, die Freundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft aller Mitarbeiter. Das 'Weisses Rössl' war unser Urlaubszuhause und nachdem meine liebe Frau leider im Jahre 2020 verstorben ist bin ich in 2022 fürs 71. Mal wieder nach Innichen gekommen und hoffe noch mehrere Jahre am alten Stammtisch verbringen zu können. John Van Dijck Boortmeerbeek/Belgien

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Hotel Terme Meran. Our room was quiet and spacious and the hotel staff was friendly, gracious, and welcoming. There was no need to go to the public thermal facility next door because this hotel has it all: especially the roof top, adults only, thermal infinity pool (which overlooks the town and snow capped mountains in the distance. I have read some of the negative comments, and I have to say this was just not our experience. I too was asked not to wear my swim trunks in the sauna area, and I complied since it is the hotel policy. We stayed 1/2 board and all meals were outstanding (although I wish more South Tirolean menu choices were featured), as was the wine selection. We cannot wait to return for another 4 days sometme in the future. The hotel is close to the old town with many shops and wine bars. So, all in all, we think the Hotel Terme Meran was a wonderful experience.

A big thank you to Anita. The service is just great. Great massage in a great ambience. Trained specialists are at work here. The spa area is highly recommended, very well maintained and clean. Many, many thanks again. We were travelling through on our motorbikes. Everything was uncomplicated. Very good rooms, very good bar, very good value for money.

A very special and unique boutique hotel to stay at. The location is excellent since I travelled by train and it is near the station and it is also near the main square with many shops and restaurants around. The most impressive feature of the hotel is the beautiful garden that contains a glasshouse, restaurant, bar, pool, arts, etc. Was also able to get a hotel bike and visited an interesting castle nearby. The room is large, comfortable, clean, with excellent view of the local mountains nearby. The breakfast was also fabulous. Have no complaints, but only compliments to the staff, service, and facility. Really enjoyed my stay and would do it again!

The Adler really is truly remarkable hotel. It’s more like a luxury cruise liner than regular hotel. You could realistically book a week here and never have to leave the hotel – such is the breadth of activities on offer. Of course that would be a great mistake as Ortisei is one of the prettiest small towns in the region. A short walk and a mountain gondola ride away, is the spectacular panorama of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage area – Alpe di Siusi. We’ve seen this awesome (literally) panorama in both winter and summer and it still manages to take our breath away. The hotel manages to tastefully integrate Tyrolean charm, with Italian style. The public areas are a delight on the eye and very comfortable indeed. Our room (204) was immaculate. I genuinely could not fault one single aspect; it was all so well designed and easy to use. It goes without saying that all the things you would expect from a room in a hotel of this calibre (such as toiletries) were included. Meals were generally excellent with one notable exception which I will come to later. Buffet choices (simply salads or desserts) were expansive. When there was a special buffet evening, (such as the fish and the local speciality evenings) the choices were astonishing. The phrase “spoiled for choice” could have been written to describe these evenings. This especially applied to the range of bread products at breakfast. We have never (and I do mean never) seen such an array of different types of fresh bread. In November of last year, we stayed at a five star establishment in Florence and I was mightily impressed. I have to tell you that it didn’t come close to what is on offer at the Adler. The same goes for every aspect of the food at the Adler – choice and quality are the bywords. Not to mention the excellent (and very reasonably priced) wine list. Considering the amount of covers this hotel deals with (it’s not exactly a small hotel) the kitchen performed spectacularly well. We did not have a single disappointing meal…apart from our first. On our first night, the staff dealing with our part of the dining room (everyone was absolutely first class) advised us to check out the fish buffet before considering our later options. This was wise advice, as the buffet was simply breath-taking. I have never seen so much seafood in one place – and top quality stuff at that. So I didn’t pay much attention to what was to follow and ordered the vegetarian Lasagne with crispy Cavolo Nero. I’m sorry to say this was the worst pasta dish I have ever eaten. The sheets of fresh pasta had collapsed to form a thick, two centimetre block of stodge, topped with some crispy cabbage – genuinely awful. That lasagne – thankfully – was not typical. For the rest of the week we dined like royalty, with a special mention to the dessert team, who delivered visually amusing, utterly delicious endings to all of our meals.
