เราจองไปสองครั้ง วันที่ 17-19 เป็นห้อง Superior และ 19-20 เป็นห้อง Suite เพราะ Superior เต็ม เมื่อไปถึงวันที่ 17 เพราะเราไม่อยากย้ายห้อง จึงขอ upgrade เป็น Suite พนักงานจะคิดเราเพิ่มอีกคืนละ 5,000 บาท!!! โดยบอกว่าเป็นราคา walk in ของห้อง suite หักด้วยราคาห้อง superior ที่จองจาก internet เราก็เลยเลือกย้ายห้องดีกว่า แต่สำหรับทางโรงแรมแล้ว อาจจะเป็นการดีกว่าหากคิดส่วนต่างราคาที่มาตรฐานเดียวกัน (เช่น ราคา walk in ของห้อง suite หักด้วยราคา walk in ห้อง superior) ซึ่งเราก็พร้อมที่จะจ่าย และห้อง suite ก็ถูกทิ้งว่างไปสองวันอย่างน่าเสียดาย
ห้องแรกที่เราพักคือ 414 สุดทางเดินด้านซ้าย กว้างขวาง เงียบและสะอาด แต่อยู่เหนือครัวพอดี เริ่มมีกลิ่นจากการเตรียมอาหารตั้งแต่ตีหนึ่ง พอถึงเช้ากลิ่นแรงมากจนต้องขอย้ายห้องในคืนที่สอง
ห้อง 208 ไฟหัวเตียงไม่ทำงาน ที่แขวนฝักบัวหลุด และผนังห้องค่อนข้างบางจนได้ยินเสียงเปิดปิดสวิทช์ไฟจากห้องข้างๆ
คืนสุดท้าย Suite 311 กว้างขวางมาก เป็นสัดส่วนดี ทั้งครัวและห้องนั่งเล่น ตกแต่งได้ดีมาก
เรื่องความปลอดภัยเป็นที่น่ากังวลเล็กน้อยเพราะสามารถเข้าถึงลิฟท์ได้จากถนนเลย
Roof top ดูไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าที่ควร
ห้องออกกำลังกายก็ยอมให้เปิดแอร์เพียงตัวเดียว ทั้งที่มี 3 ตัว ต้องใช้พัดลมช่วยเป่า
อาหารเช้า แม้จะมีให้เลือกหลายชนิด แต่บางอย่างหมดเร็วมาก (ตั้งแต่ 8 น.) และการเติมก็ล่าช้า มีน้อยชนิดแต่ได้รับการเอาใจใส่อย่างต่อเนื่องอาจจะดีกว่า
อย่างไรก็ตาม นี่เป็นโรงแรมที่ดีมาก และสามารถแนะนำให้เข้าพักได้อย่างเต็มปาก

Room # 512 \ 1 x Night Stay \ Booked via Agoda This Resort is 'value for your money' We were passing thru from Mukdahan to Korat and wanted to break the journey at Surin. The Martina Hotel did the trick very nicely. What surprised us was how quiet at night the Resort is and also how well kept the rooms are. Most hotels get tired and scuff marks but our room was excellent. All staff interactions were friendly and check in was a breeze. They have an onsite restaurant with indoor \ outdoor eating available, also open 18 hours a day!! We would happily book and stay here again anytime in the future.

PPengguna TetamuMy partner and I stayed here for a week to visit her family, who she hadn't seen for about three years, thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We found the place ideally located, close to the Night Markets in Central Surin City. We also had a hire car, so albeit small, the car park came in particularly useful for us. The style of the hotel is completely unique and a bit of an experience; it feels ”industrial”, yet ”natural”, with the concrete floors and jungle-like garden. This, however, makes the hotel no less comfortable, though and I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and bedding, in particular. The first night we were there, the hotel did not have WiFi (which is included in the nightly rate), I was not really able to ascertain why, but the next day it was working, which enabled us to use the TV for Netflix. Breakfast is included in the great-value rate (this may have been an Agoda special; I'm not really sure), and although simple, it does the job. I don't believe there was any dinner, as we ordered Grab Food for dinner most nights, which is still good value. Nonethless, basis our experience on this occasion, we'll definitely be returning to The Wood next time we are in Surin!

PPengguna TetamuAffordable accommodation without any fanfare. Located close to the Surin Pillar Shrime. Plenty of eateries, only thing is most are close. Checkin was seedless, security card access to enter the main the resident area. Lift is small and not aircon. Social distancing still practice at this hotel. Wifi is pretty decent, only dropped out during late afternoon storm. Shower is small but very good pressure. We booked 3 rooms: 402,403 and 404. 402 the aircon need service as it rattle and hum intermittently.

PPengguna Tetamuเป็นโรงแรมที่ไม่ใหญ่ อยู่ข้างๆจากใจกลางเมืองสุรินทร์ โรงแรมไม่มีการตรวจเช็คว่าผู้เข้าพักได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนหรือไม่ และไม่มี ความปลอดภัยในการเข้าออกโรงแรมเลย จอดรถเสร็จสามารถเดินขึ้นอาคารได้เลย และวันที่2 คีย์การ์ดห้องนอนเราเปิดไม่ได้ไปให้เขาช่วยรีเซ็ตให้ใหม่ก็ทำให้เลยโดยไม่ต้องขอบัตรประชาชนยืนยันว่าพักอยู่ที่นี่ อันนี้น่ากลัว ส่วนห้องนอนปกติไม่มีอะไร อาหารเช้าก็โอเค ที่จอดรถก็โอเค

PPengguna TetamuBecause friends live nearby, I have stayed several times and for numerous days at a time. Its location is perfect for me. This hotel is on the edge of town and quiet. It is not close to any attractions and nowhere really, to walk to from here. It's not remote, just not close to anything worthy. There is a place to grab a drink adjoining the entry from the main road, which, of course, is mostly populated by locals. The rooms are all very clean, serviced every day, and the staff is as helpful as they can but do not speak english. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is large with the classic thai shower. I am usually on the side viewing the abutting farm (rice?) and like to wake up amd watch the owner/tender go about their daily routine depending on the season. There is a small restaurant which has been closed since covid. Not sure it will reopen. I'd like to see the fountain out front working..I'm not sure if it's broken or just a budget concern. This is not a fancy hotel but the AC and hot water work, and you get new towels daily. For me, most important is very clean rooms. Great stay for the price. Tipping is not expected in this part of Thailand but if you stay, leave a few baht for the cleaning staff. Oh, during the rainy season you might have to ahare the bathroom with a few tiny guests (not pests). Don't be alarmed. They need water too, are harmless, and I've never seen them outside the bathroom. Gecko roam the lobby walls and sometimes the hall and likely in your room. This unavoidable in 90% of Thailand, but they are mosquito and bug eaters, so i like. If these added attractions put you off, Thailand is not for you.

NNorthStar66216583296A classic 35 year old conference hotel still maintaining its charm. The massive foyer and lobby with its marble floors, hanging chandeliers and wood craftsmanship along with Thai hospitality makes this place unique. Fortunately the floors for hotel guests have been renovated with new lighting, electric outlets, flooring and upgraded bathrooms ( plenty of hot water). The swimming pool is refreshing but no tropical garden- just concrete. The changing rooms with showers have been renovated with new floor tile. The buffet breakfast is above average for a hotel in Isaan. Friendly staff speaks English btw. A 7-Eleven is 1 block away. A narrow soi parallel to the hotel ( west) has small restaurants and a couples “farang bars” with Western food ( Italian, pizza, hamburgers…) The main street in front of the hotel has a lot of clubs and bars for the young crowd.
