This is an excellent Hotel, located in an easily accessible area. Our room is large and spacious. We had a great day. They have laundry on the same floor. Breakfast was great, but the Highlight was Luann, who served breakfast in the morning. It seems like she came straight from a five-star restaurant somewhere. She's incredibly friendly and polite and courteous. She wouldn't let us throw away our own trash. She took care of it for us. And she was engaging with other guests like they were old friends. She really made it a pleasant experience. We definitely recommend staying here.

555ChevytravelerWe almost didn't stay here because of the recent bad reviews. But we needed to stay in Mineral Wells for a funeral and most motels had jacked up their rates for Memorial weekend more than we wanted to pay. So we decided to take a chance since it was only one night. We're glad we did. If you're the type that is bothered by aesthetic things like chipped furniture, a sagging hide-a-bed couch or patched walls, don't stay here. If you're used to staying in budget motels like we are, those things don't matter. It had what matters to us--a safe location, clean room and bath and a comfortable bed. It was a Comfort Suites in a former incarnation and some of those amenities are still there, like an elevator, larger room with more soundproofing, closet, and even a luggage cart. The refrigerator was appreciated since we are used to eating cereal in our room at Motel 6's. It's amazing to me how many people stay at a known budget motel and give it a bad review because it doesn't have all the amenities that they expect at a higher tier motel. If you want those things, stay elsewhere and pay for them. We actually got more than we expected at a Motel 6. It's one of the nicest we've stayed at in over 40 years of budget vacations going back to when they were bare-bones. We enjoyed our stay.
