Super friendly staff! Beautiful hotel! Unfortunately, it was a pity that we booked during the wrong period, as the small ”beach” was very dirty. The hotel also seemed super empty. This makes it less pleasant. In the room there were no water bottles or slippers as the booking claimed. Toilet was a bit dirty and it seemed to have been cleaned very quickly. The only really bad thing for us was the breakfast that we had booked for 2 people. This was not breakfast for us, nor for 2 people as it was claimed.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. First of all, I don’t want to be unfair to the staff. The reception team and the valet staff were genuinely kind, respectful, and always tried to help. They deserve appreciation for their excellent attitude. However, the hotel itself was very disappointing, especially for a 5-star property. The twin room was extremely uncomfortable, and I honestly couldn’t believe this was the standard for a hotel with this rating. The shower was unbelievably small—barely enough space for one person to stand comfortably. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. We stayed for 3 days, kept the AC on the coldest setting the entire time, and the room never got cool. We were extremely uncomfortable because of the heat. We reported the problem several times, and each time we were told it had been fixed, but nothing actually changed. We ended up checking out with the issue still unresolved. The staff were great, but unfortunately the hotel’s facilities and maintenance were far below what I expected from a 5-star hotel.

My room was immaculate, with all the amenities I could ask for, and the housekeeping team maintained it in pristine condition throughout my stay. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident in every interaction, from the concierge’s insightful tips to the restaurant staff’s warm hospitality. I would highly recommend Monte Cassino to anyone visiting Jounieh area, whether for business or leisure. The combination of exceptional service and a prime location makes it an outstanding choice.

My recent stay at Matar Residence hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. The suites are beautifully appointed, with modern amenities such as smart TVs and fast WiFi, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary fruits, Nescafe, tea, and water bottles provided in the room. The layout of the suites, with separate living areas and kitchenettes, provided a sense of spaciousness and privacy. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I will definitely be returning to Matar Residence on my next visit.

Always best hotel in Beirut

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the quality of the facilities. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

A lovely seaside hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed here for just one night during our trip around Lebanon, and it was a wonderful experience. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was truly special. The room was neat, clean, and comfortable. The staff were attentive, respectful, and ready to assist whenever needed ✨
