Lovely setting in tiny village of Mystras. This hotel has a csr park (!) under shady trees and a swimming pool too. The room was spacious, with air conditioning, wooden shutters and double glazed doors & windows. We had a mini fridge and a safe. The shower Lso had. Non slip mat which was a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable Nd i slept very well. Everything was clean and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast was so fresh they were preparing things as we sat down. There was in door seating and a lovely terrace at the back overlooking the pool and orange groves. We were very pleased with our stay.

Stayed here for one night in August 2023 Pros: 1) Location is good. The place is bang next to the Mystras town entre. 2) The front desk staff speak excellent English 3) The WIFI is free and the speed and connectivity are good. 4) The room and bathrooms were very clean 5) There are several good restaurants within walking distance 6) The place is quite at night and sleep quality was good. 7) Air condition was available 8) The room had a great view of the Mystras Site 9) Front desk is staffed 24 hours 10) The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. 11) There is parking available on site. 12) The tariff was reasonable. Cons: 1) The actual Mystras site is far away and is not walkable. You will need a car. But that is true with any accommodation in Mystras.

Centrally located hotel, convenient as a base for the archaeological site or walks in the wooded hills behind. Our superior room overlooked the town with the hills and Byzantine city beyond. Good beds, slightly eccentric shower, breakfast served but not other meals. That’s no matter - there are plenty of tavernas nearby. And the mystery? Best summed up with a Q & A. Q: Why do the dogs in Mystras sleep all day? A: Because they bark all night. You can close the windows and hit the aircon (not the quietist) but if you fancy fresh air by night, bring your ear plugs!

Very convenient and reasonably priced hotel if you plan to visit Mistras. Clean, modern bathroom, good bedding, nice balcony with view over the mountains, good breakfast and friendly staff. We definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay...

I really enjoyed my stay in Byzantion. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was fantastic value for money. The balcony in the room had a great view of the castle and mountains and I spend a long time looking at the views! It was soundproof to the outside noise and the bed was comfortable. The shower was a little bit small, but it served its purpose. Breakfast was nice and light with a coffee machine and a terrace. The hotel provided a perfect base for me to explore Mystra, Mount Taygetos and the surrounding villages. It is completely central to the area and is around a twenty minute walk to the entrance of Mystras' archeological site. Five minutes up the road is the start of Taygetos mountain walking routes and access to other villages. A very nice, reasonably priced hotel close to the landmarks of Mystra.

J'ai adoré cet hôtel il y a 10 ans, j'ai été un peu déçue car malheureusement il a l'air de somnoler un peu. Belle chambre avec balcon et vue sur la château, mais le plafonnier ne fonctionnait pas, la porte de la douche était cassée, et le signaler n'a rien changé... Très bon petit déjeuner cependant et accueil chaleureux des dames de service, un peu froid de la part des hôtes. Bref, un bon souvenir, mais le tout aurait besoin d'un petit coup de frais.

Déjà, rien que pour les nids d’hirondelles sous les arches et les balcons, je mets 5/5 : vraiment plaisant de les voir voler et atterrir pour nourrir les petits de si prés. Sinon, le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. - L’accueil est très sympa - Le parking et la piscine sont des + (même si la piscine n’est pas encore prête en mai) - Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec vue sur le jardin et la piscine m’a plu : produits locaux +++ (orange, miel,…) simples mais bons. - La chambre est très correcte bien que, oui, pas de 1ere jeunesse, mais avec vue sur le site de Mystra s’il vous plait - L’emplacement à 1km de Mystra est top Un jour, il sera rénové et il perdra sûrement de son charme. En attendant je conseille +++ pour 80 euros la nuit, petits dej inclus.

Hotel a conduzione familiare, rimodernato solo in parte Le camere in cui abbiamo soggiornato erano piccole e un po' "datate". Abbiamo soggiornato due notti ma le camere non sono mai stata pulite. La piscina era piccola, piuttosto sporca e piena di insetti. Ottima invece la posizione per visitare Mystras. Buona la colazione

Als je van een Spartaans avontuur houdt is dit jouw hotel! Wij verbleven 1 nacht (oorspronkelijk 2 geboekt) en zijn vervroegd vertrokken. Het is niet een hotel met vriendelijk of service gericht personeel, kamers zijn 'Spartaans', kijk niet onder de bedden, hoop niet dat de airco werkt of dat je daarmee je kamer kan koelen, verwacht niet een werkende douche en koud water is inbegrepen bij dit Spartaanse avontuur. Het ontbijtbuffet wordt 'bemand' door 2 onvriendelijke Griekse dames en is matig van kwaliteit. Als je dit hotel 1 ster geeft met een prijs van 25- 40 euro per nacht kom je in de buurt van de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding
