Hotel berhampiran Studio Koru Touch of New Zealand, Split

Un excelente hotel para descansar y relaj****. El servicio es excelente, el personal es amable, la comida es excelente. El centro de spa es un auténtico relax y las habitaciones siempre están limpias. Todas las recomendaciones.

We stayed at the Horizon Luxury suites for one night in the superior sea view suite - Blue room No. 5. I was looking for something close to the city and attractions as well as near to the beach. This place is perfectly placed literally a 5min walk to the Marina, old town and Palace and Cathedral. The beach approx 6mins away. The hotel as you may have read is in a converted office block, so from the street it doesn’t look that luxury! Also the doors are totally hidden, to the left of the front, that just looked like windows but actually a concealed entrance which opens when you approach it. The suites are on the 5th floor and I’d arranged to drop off our suitcases ahead of check-in. Nothing was too much trouble suitcases stored, taxi booked the following day to the airport for €40 paid directly to the taxi. The suite was massive, wonderful air conditioning and had everything we needed. The reception desk also recommended restaurants and provided a map to make it easy to navigate the city, I honestly can’t fault this, place…. It’s a little unconventional, so some people may prefer to stick to a traditional hotel, but we’d definitely stay here again, A big thank you to Ivan and the reception team who helped make our stay so easy and enjoyable, your communication and helpfulness was much appreciated.

非常好的位置，在一個寫字樓的14樓上，距離火車站，汽車站，碼頭，古城步行均在15分鐘之內，房間很寬敞乾淨 視野非常非常好（秒殺觀景台的水平）。但問題是攜程上酒店的聯繫方式是錯誤的（是luxury旗下的其他公司的電話，而不是這家店），而且酒店是沒有前台的，我花了很久才聯繫上酒店辦理了住宿。評論裏的圖三才是正確的電話

The Briig is an absolutely beautiful hotel. From the moment you step inside you are greeted with sweetly perfumed air and a light and airy reception. The staff at front desk were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed a room with a lovely view of the sea and a window that fully opens so as to enjoy the sea breeze. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the heart of Split - perfect if wanting to walk off a meal. It feels like a quiet paradise away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast is very well presented but we were initially not notified that there is a breakfast menu that we could order from - it was strangely hidden away from guests. We are also not initially asked if we wanted coffee or tea and thought that we had to get our own from the basic coffee machine. There was an actual coffee machine that we eventually noticed and had to ask someone for a coffee. The air conditioning is also controlled from reception - but they are happy to set it to whatever temperature you desire . The room we booked had a large kind bed and as I was traveling with a friend, they were nice enough to equip the bed with separate bedding for each of us .

Location is AMAZING! Walking distance to all the fun and action! Loved the opportunity to open the windows and have fresh air and look over the park/courtyard! THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! We had a challenge with bedding and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY! MOST IMPORTANT, We had to leave at 4 am to catch our flight and absentmindedly left a fairly large sum of US dollars in the safe. I literally expected to write it off. However after 24 hours of flying I made the call to the hotel and they did everything to get me the cash back to me in a timely manner. I even told them to keep an amount for going out of their way to get it to me. Thank you Frane and all involved! They did not take it! Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely small, friendly hotel situated away from the busy seafront but within easy reach of everything including the palace. We found the breakfast amble with lots of choices and always freshly prepared. Room was a good size and very clean, fresh towels and bed made every day. Bar did close early but it was still nice to have afternoon or pre-dinner drinks in the garden always served with a smile. Maya was amazing, always greeted us with a smile and wanted to hear how our day went. Maya shared her knowledge about the best sites to visit during our stay with all the details on how to get there and make the most of it. She also recommended and booked restaurants for us, nothing was ever too much trouble. Thankyou so much Maya I wish you and the Hotel all the best for the future.

I'm apparently in the minority giving this place only 3 stars. So I'll start with the good. The location is excellent. It's a very, very short, 5 minute walk to Old Split/Diocletian's Palace. We had a rental car, and while there isn't parking right at this place, there's a public parking lot just a short walk down the street. The place itself is located on an old historic street, in an old historic building. Though the inside has been completely modernized. Self check-in instructions were very clear and easy, and communication with the host was quick and easy. We stayed in Apartment 12, and the apartment itself was fantastic. It was clean, had a comfortable bed, a private balcony, and a full kitchen stocked with any pots/pans/utensils that you would need. There was a small table to eat at downstairs, and upstairs was a little sitting area/alcove down the hall from the bedroom. There was a small grocery store just a few steps away so cooking our own meals was extremely convenient and easy to do. The bad: The shower had almost no hot water. This might not bother some people, especially in the summer. But we were there in the winter and this definitely put a damper in our stay. The shower had, at most, 5 minutes of hot water. We had to take military style showers (turn water on to get wet, turn water off and shampoo hair, turn water back on to rinse, etc). And since the water took over 2 hours to heat back up, only one person could shower at a time. The water heater had indicator lights on it to show you how much hot water it had, and we noticed that just from washing our hands in warm water, the lights would start to indicate that the hot water supply was already depleting. It seemed like a water heater that was meant for a sink, and not a shower. On the second and third days of our stay, we actually carried hot water up from the kitchen (separate water heater) in pots to assist in the ”rinse” part of our showers. Again, maybe this isn't as annoying in the hotter summer months, but I do expect to have hot showers when I stay at places with modern amenities. I only see one other review here that mentions the lack of hot water so maybe this isn't a common problem. Perhaps the water heater was just broken when we were there. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't stay here again simply because of the shower. But I almost hate to say that because everything else was wonderful.

房間整體還是很滿意的，物超所值吧算是，衞生乾淨，在歐洲主要是乾淨就好，景色非常好，住的海景房，樓下就是海灘，躺椅需要租用。

Overall, it was a good hotel, but I wouldn't consider it worthy of a 5-star rating. The room was excellent, especially the bed and the air conditioning. Bathroom was a bit outdated for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. Despite this, both the room and the hotel were clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the private beach area in front of the property. It was a great perk to have access to complimentary beach chairs and towels. The surroundings were lovely, and it added to the overall experience. Breakfast was a disappointment considering the size and standard of the hotel. The breakfast selection was limited, and the quality was not up to par. For example, the fruits were not fresh, and there was no freshly squeezed juice available. It fell short of my expectations. The other restaurants within the hotel were quite expensive, and there wasn't much else in terms of dining options within walking distance. Dinner for two persons (main course with wine glasses) was 70+ euros. The Italian restaurant Conlemani offered delicious pasta and risotto dishes and was by far our favourite restaurant, but Gooshter and Port 74 left us disappointed. Gooshter was decent but one time the food we ordered to the beach never came. Port 74 was disappointment because we thought it would be more fine dining based on the advertisements and photos. It would have been convenient to have a shuttle bus service to Split city center, so guests could enjoy dinner or explore the area. Unfortunately, this service was not provided. The distance between the hotel and the center of Split is not long, but can take up to an hour depending on the traffic. In addition, there is a huge difference in the prices of Uber and regular taxis, as Uber costs around 15 euros and a regular taxi costs 30+ euros. In conclusion, the hotel was decent overall, but it would be a bigger disappointment if you tend to use your time exploring the destination and use the hotel mainly for sleeping and breakfast. The true value of the hotel lies in utilizing the beach and other facilities and amenities such as the restaurants, although they come at a highish cost. So if you're looking for a place to relax and take advantage of the amenities, this hotel could be a good choice. However, if you expect a truly 5-star experience in all aspects, you might want to consider other options.
