Lovely hotel with excellent spa. Can’t wait to go back to visit again.

We stayed for one night when dropping off our child at St Andrews. The location is perfect- right across the road from Sallie’s halls and a quick stroll to bars and restaurants. We were in Room 10, which comprised of a king size bed, a living room with a single bed and a private patio. We appreciated the toiletries, the tea and cookies and the hot breakfast. The staff were delightful and very welcoming. No complaints. Would stay again.

We went for food and had a great experience with our server Fiona, she was polite, friendly and she ensured she met out needs during our time there. Despite appearing to be short staffed Fiona went over and beyond to make sure we had all our needs catered for. Lemons were the chat of the day haha.

Resting on its Laurels we believe! We booked the best available rates a couple of weeks out but noticed the hotel were offering much better deals for our dates which we were not advised of. We asked to amend the deal but were told no until we pointed out we were within the cancellation period. So we got the new deal which included a restaurant voucher for 110£ and the room was cheaper. The Road Hold afternoon bar experience was poor and it was very difficult to order another drink. Those guys missed a tip but maybe they don’t share the tips or don’t care! The room was not serviced during our stay but as we were only there for two nights that was not a disaster. The Jigger staff and service was above and beyond and they made the trip. Reception staff were also excellent. Unlikely to return until the 5 star service does.
