The hotel is on the main street of Dunkeld but my room window was to the internal yard with hotel parking. Very calm location. Good size room. Very large screen TV set with Netflix. Great choice for breakfast with large portions. Very polite and helpful hotel staff.

Absolutely Dismal place. Needs to be closed down and completely refurbished. Needs massive investment and decent management to get it back on track. It is filthy, disorganised and the grounds are full of discarded rubbish and building materials. I complained to the manager about the state of the place and our poor experience but she was disinterested in feedback and was very defensive and unwilling to see it from a guests perspective. We chatted to other guests who were appalled at the state of the place and who like us, won't be back.

The Royal Dunkeld Hotel, AWFUL AVOID! READ THE REVIEWS THEY DON'T LIE! We went for one night at a cost of £89 for room only no breakfast, you have to pay extra when you are there, if you wanted breakfast. The room had water marks on the ceiling and was freezing cold. There was a dripping/clicking pipe noise all night which kept us awake all night, so sleep depraved and not a relaxing break. Explained to the girl on reception in the morning we were not happy and was told there is nothing that can be done about pipe noises. Checkout is 10.30, but we got out of there earlier as we needed to get home for some sleep. Not happy and really disappointed, we will stay elsewhere next time, do not recommend this so called hotel to anyone.

Appalling experience.No hot water for 4days and no apology. Aggressive language from bar keeper. I asked to run a tab for food and drink as I was staying for a week. This was refused … the belligerent barman threatened to expel me from the Hotel.

Royal Dunkeld Hotel is that hotel in the Scotland that is most preferred by the low impact travelers. Especially of very efficient service delivery and its strategic location of putting one at the centre of tourism triangle in the city. These are simple accommodations which are however very clean; inasmuch as it is a good place when you want to spend a night or two as you discover the city without spending much.

Royal Dunkeld Hotel is nice cheap and cheerful the many nice clean rooms which are available are making this hotel amazing. Makes your stay and move in easy and has a variety of foods to offer in their food menu Successful in providing friendly staff and one of those places that guests are able to appreciate because of cleanness and good service. And if you are looking for a luxury, a well serviced hotel that is in the city then this hotel will suit you.

At The Royal Dunkeld Hotel, the location of this hotel to be ideal, CLeanliness of the rooms was superb and perfect for a romantic retreat. The staff helped to make as great an experience as it was and even a more enjoyable one with their staff’s positive demeanor. Just great place, great location for the hotel, very clean, and friendly cozy atmosphere created an amazing experience. Talking about the details it was quite pleasing and I do not have serious problems to recommend Royal Dunkeld Hotel for staying.

With regards to the level of service The Royal Dunkeld Hotel is the best offer for these prices. The rooms themselves are neat and offer loads of comfort. The header photo was taking during what I think is definitely a 10/10 in my book service. Lastly this means that certain of the tourist attraction features have to be visible from the hotel location. This is ideal for anyone who appreciates innovation and reliability of manufactures associating the product with the best quality.
