Cari Hotel 2-Star di Toyooka

There is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie. The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long. There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages. Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!

One of the cheaper options in Kinosaki Onsen. The rooms are clean and functional. The biggest downside was the water pump right outside of our window, which could be heard the whole night. The shared facilities were generally well equipped, but we missed a washing machine to do our laundry.

改装したばかりらしく、部屋は新しくて木の香りがしました。町を挙げて文学を奨励しているらしく、部屋に小説も何冊か置いてあります。食堂も綺麗で料理もとても美味しかった。女将さんも気さくな方で、外湯巡りや、散歩コース、ロープウェイへ行く際の情報などももらってとても良かったです。

日帰り温泉施設に併設されていて、日帰りのお客さんと一緒に21時まで利用します。時間帯を選べば、土日でしたがそこまで混んでおらずゆっくり温泉に入れました。 21時以降は宿泊者のみの入浴時間でした。 アルカリ性の温泉でお湯がトロトロでした。 露天風呂からちょうど八重桜も見れて、至福の時間でした。お料理は季節ものや地元のものが使われていて、特に夕食が美味しかったです！ のんびりゆったりできてリフレッシュできました。また行きたいです。

Lovely place. Room was spacious, service was great. We got the pass to visit all 7 onsens. There are also 3 private onsens that you can use for free. Food was great. Location is slightly off the main streets so it's quiet but still very close to everything. There's also a small bar within the guesthouse which serves delicious cocktails.
