I have to be honest, this hostel is one of the best that you can find with this modest price, but excellent services. First enter, the counter was having a good chat with a chinese, teen girl who traveled alone in Malaysia. The counter, who is a girl immediately served me as I wanted to place my luggage here before exploring Ipoh . When i check in, around 2pm, (yeah i can check in before 3pm, this is a life saver), an uncle, who served me with care and gave me a tour with their amenities. The amenities were amazing. You can play guitar if you do as they provided at the resting area. You can have a relaxing, comforting hot bath with shampoo and body wash provided. The pillows and bed were cozy... The only thing i am unsatisfied is the attitude of the chinese traveler who sleeps beside me. I can hesr his whispers, saying rude words in chinese (maybe he is having a bad time in Ipoh i guess). The rest, is awesome. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay with home's warmth and modest price, Miner's house is for you.

It was clean and safe. Bed is clean, shower is clean, common area is clean. Just a couple things: 1) wish the compound was smoke/cigarette-free (it was a middle aged local man who smoked in the area next to the pantry, looks like one of you idk); 2) don’t expect to go to bed early 😂 you can go to bed early but theres a bar below so you hear the music, and I was in the female dorm on level 1, lotsa noise coming from the floors above. However, people generally go quiet after, I think the bar closes? Which is 1am. Not sure, I went to bed around 10pm and was in and out of sleep. Overall the place is great.

I found this place through Xiaohongshu and decided to give it a try. Personally, I feel it might be a little overrated. We chose the room type on the lower floor, and the room felt quite small. For a similar price, there may be other options that offer more space. I also noticed quite a bit of dust in different areas of the room. As someone with a sensitive nose, it wasn’t very friendly for me as I kept sneezing during the stay. The bathroom was fine when it was dry and there wasn’t much smell. However, after taking a shower, there was quite a strong odor that became noticeable and a little uncomfortable. The small courtyard area is nice for photos, but there were ants and quite a lot of spider webs, which made it feel like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time. On the positive side, the dessert and breakfast were very nice. The breakfast portion was generous and the welcome dessert was also lovely. Overall, I hope more attention can be given to cleanliness and maintenance, as it would definitely improve the experience.

Location is surrounding with lot of restaurants.only took 5-7 min to Aquatic centre. There is washer in the unit but no hanger or place to hang the clothes. Overall is ok

We extended our stay, very spacious unit, very clean, excellent location. My children likes the place, very quiet for them to relax and just chill out. Will stay again when we visit next time.

Best tapi takde paip kat dalam toilet tu. Agak inconvenient sikit as a muslim. Shower ada both air panas dan sejuk. Bilik dan tempat sangat aesthetic. Yang tak berapa best sink dalam bilik air tak keluar maybe rosak kot. Tapi dekat la dengan Concubine Lane, Book Xcess etc. Parking boleh park area kedai-kedai situ.

Proses daftar masuk & keluar mudah & lancar. Kakitangannya ramah. Kebersihan bilik & tandas boleh dipertingkatkan. Seperti tiada pembersihan dilakukan sebelum daftar masuk pelanggan seterusnya. Togol hidup/mati untuk pemanas air rosak. Jika tidak, boleh menjadi hotel bajet yang sangat bagus.

Nilai untuk wang. Lokasi hebat yang berhampiran dengan banyak restoran Pinji yang terkenal dalam jarak berjalan kaki. Meja penyambut tetamu yang sangat mesra. Sewa Murah. Mempunyai tempat letak kereta bawah tanah, tetapi gf saya berasa sangat tidak selesa apabila pemandu melihat dia satu jenis. Dia tidak akan berani tinggal di sini jika dia bersendirian. Sama seperti kebanyakan hotel bajet, kalis bunyi adalah buruk. Tetapi bagi saya secara peribadi, saya tidak mempunyai apa-apa untuk mengadu tentang harga yang telah saya bayar.

Bilik ok dan bersih Lokasi yang baik dan tempat letak kereta mudah dicari Tetapi jika anda ingin makan atau kedai yang selesa perlu pergi bertentangan
