This is a dependable choice—a true 7 out of 10.
The Good: Location and Service Are Top-Tier
The biggest strength of Studio 18 is its location. It's tucked away inside San Antonio Village, which is a quiet and secure gated community, giving you peace of mind in a busy city. Yet, you're only a short, manageable walk away from major hubs like SM Megamall, Capitol Commons, and Shangri-La Plaza. If you rely on public transport, the proximity to the Shaw Boulevard MRT station is a huge plus. It’s an ideal base for shopping, working, or accessing neighboring Ortigas Center.
The Staff deserves special mention. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and quick to address requests. In a large metro, great service makes all the difference, and the team here is absolutely the highlight of the stay.
The Rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially compared to newer, smaller budget studios. Many units come equipped with a small kitchenette (refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave in some), a comfortable desk for working, and good air conditioning. The staff were very accommodating and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a quiet getaway.

OOreo20Although we had a little bit of issue with the check-in process (1. the admin couldn’t initially find our reservation; 2. we were told to present vaccination IDs though it wasn’t stated on the booking info that it’s a requirement. I had mine but my partner didn’t have hers.), Sir Kevin (host) was kind enough to thoroughly assist us throughout our stay. The unit had decent kitchenware which we used since we stayed for 2 nights. It just seemed that the place wasn’t completely cleaned before our stay as there were still some uncollected trash inside the bin, leftover butter in the fridge (probably from the previous guest). We also noticed that the linen and duvet had some stains. I just hope those were old stains and not from the previous guest because that would be really off. Other than that, the location was spot on. For the price we paid, it was totally a steal. I just hope the overall cleanliness of the unit would be improved.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis is a ‘love’ hotel. Even though the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and discreet, the hotel lacks basic safety features such as a key for your room and a safe box. Therefore it’s pointless to book it in advance for several nights. There’s absolutely nothing around the hotel which can be positive or negative depending on what you’re looking for. Only recommend if all you’re looking for is privacy.
