Cari Hotel 3-Bintang di Yamanakako

We had the opportunity to stay at Fuji International Hotel for a night before our family holiday ended & I must say that this was actually the highlight of the trip with the warmest of hosts! The hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay for all their guests, even entertaining through the night. Added another key memory for our Lake Yamanaka stopover. Not to mention brilliant views & spacious accommodation 🤗

這是第二個評論，一頁寫不完，第一個評論寫了交通，環境，衞生，裝修和服務，這篇寫寫住這個酒店怎麼玩兩個湖，我是帶兩個長者還有老婆孩子去的，這個最複雜的團隊都能搞定，我想你們也不會有啥問題。首先我沒自駕因為沒國際駕照，港澳台同胞就儘量自駕吧。如果從大阪那邊來，就坐新幹線到三島市出站右轉坐大巴直達山中湖站步行幾分鐘到酒店門口，如果是東京過來要從新宿坐大巴車直達山中湖站行程2個多小時，也可以坐火車到河口湖，再倒公共汽車到山中湖。山中湖步行環湖一天也就走半個湖吧，建議騎自行車，酒店出來的71旁邊幾百米就有租自行車的，但比河口湖貴。河口湖配套好點，但人踩人説實話沒山中湖好玩，河口湖必租ebike，湖太大了，不然玩不完。

picture show was abit different on actual room , the actual stay it actually enjoy the room was big and clean just the hotel a bit aged and it look a bit haunted , but actually everything look good and , there was just 2 or 3 staff in the hotel .

The hotel is located just by the lake side, close to the bus station, and also provides plenty of places for parking. The owners are very friendly and warm hearted. They are ready to help from early morning to night. The room is of traditional Japanese style. It is my first time to try this type of room but I can sleep very well here. It is very quite at night. And you can have a good lake view for some rooms. I will definitely consider stay here next time when I travel to Yamanakako. ご馳走様でした！

Back for another stay from last year's visit. Back in the same cabin and this time we're better equip to warm the cabin up! Definitely a good cabin to have awesome view of Mt Fuji

Мы жили здесь 4 ночи в апреле 2024 года. Местоположение очень удобное, автобусная станция рядом. До набережной тоже совсем близко. Мы прекрасно провели время в Яманакако. Неподалеку можно арендовать велосипед и проехать вокруг озера. Места вокруг очень красивые и спокойные. Хозяева очень стараются. Поддерживают чистоту, готовят вкусные завтраки. Также есть небольшой онсен для проживающих. Туалет общий на этаже. В нём можно помыться и попариться в горячей ванне. По соотношению цена-качество 5 из 5.

I glanced through the other reviews before I decided to write a review, in case I missed something. People clearly had a different experience than I did. The best thing I can say about this hotel is that the dinner was outstanding. There was a lot of food, too much in fact, including succulent beef, an entire fish on a stick (not appealing to look at, but tasty), plus a variety of other distinctly Japanese dishes. So, if you stay at this hotel, come to dinner hungry. As for Mt. Fuji: If the weather is pristine, then indeed you can see Mt. Fuji from the 3rd floor via a tiny little ”observatory room.” If the weather isn't perfect, you'll see bits of the mountain as clouds slowly drift by. The room is very standard Japanese, meaning: tatami mat floor (fake tatami, real would be impossible to maintain), green-tea colored walls, futons that you must lay out yourself, a small flat-screen TV (you won't be able to get anything except local channels), and a separate toilet room and bath, plus a tiny sitting room with a view of whatever is available (we were on the first floor and could see some trees and a walkway). Note: if you are used to sleeping on a bed, you will not wake up feeling well rested. I have lived in Japan for 29 years and I originally slept on a futon, but unless you are used to doing so, you will not have a restful experience, so it's best to be exhausted when you go to sleep. The ”sento” (public bath) is very small and nothing to write home about. Yes, the water is hot and it feels good, but the entire room is small, and at full capacity, 10 people can use it, except -- it would be extremely uncomfortable with that many people in it. The location of the hotel: If you have a car, you'll be sitting pretty, whizzing around hither and on. If you do not, and you make the mistake of walking from the hotel to cross the main road so you can get a better (possibly) view of Mt. Fuji and surrounding nature areas, you risk your life. I repeat: you risk your life. Traffic is coming from both directions and you do not really have the proper amount of time to gauge the traffic coming from both sides. We were lucky we didn't get killed. There is no crosswalk, no signs, no nothing. You have been warned. Yes, the staff will pick you up from the station or bus stop, or wherever the agreed upon place is, and take you back. However, despite what some other reviews have said, I did not find the staff to be remotely friendly. Not at all. And I can speak fair Japanese. The hotel seemed short-staffed, certainly at the front desk. And of the three ”front desk men” that I encountered, not one of them smiled the entire time, except once, when I realized that one of them actually understood what I was saying in English when I spoke to my partner. Otherwise, they were very business-like, which is fine for a corporate meeting, but not for a hotel. very nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again

L’hôtel est effectivement vieillissant mais reste charmant ! Il propose des chambres typiques japonaises et des chambres avec lits et toutes sont bien rangées et bien entretenues ! Le gérant de l’établissement est adorable et très arrangeant. Le petit déjeuner est correct ! La soupe est un régal ! Attention car le restaurant ne propose pas de dîner (en tout cas durant notre séjour). Le seul point négatif, la distance avec le « centre » mais des bus passent régulièrement (sauf le soir !).
