Cari Hotel 4-Star di Mackay

Great service at check-in, kindly upgraded which was much appreciated, clean rooms, great size, great location - was able to walk most places. The only down side was that there was a smell musty, damp smell when the air con was on.

Great location was awesome for the with the beach right there loved it

停車很方便，前台服務很好，附近就有一個公園，離沙灘也非常近，附近生態很好，酒店很安靜，會推薦給朋友的。

We are in room 440A and B it said 2 kings on the booking however the bed in A is definitely a queen and was a very hard bed with no topper the bed in B was much nicer to sleep on. I asked for a quiet room and wasn’t too bad however if your noise sensitive there is a bar across the road and you are close to the road and the windows are not double glazed so lots of coins gets through. The place feels like it needs a bit of TLC with some block out curtains for an Oaks brand I expected a lot more. Each room only had sheets and the duvets there are no other blankets so was hard to get termperature right as the kids and I found the duvet too hot and the sheets alone to cold

was a great place to stay friendly staff very clean enviroment would recommend to anyone will definetly be staying again

We got a king bed which was 2 singles pushed together. The room was clean but we had cigarette smoke smell coming from the other room. All of our clean clothes in our bag smelled like smoke. There was a microwave, plates, small bowls, cutlery, coffee, tea, salt & pepper packets which was great. Packet dishwashing liquid and washing powder, tea towel and a chucks towel. The fridge/freezer was really dirty, frozen over and tiny. Couldn’t fit a tub of ice cream. Other than that there was a kettle, hair dryer and iron. We went to the pool area to have a look, there was a bbq, and amenities. It was cold so we didn’t swim. Maybe a shared fridge freezer would be nice so we can put our ice cream. The hotel is away from the city but there was parking and with a vehicle, it was no worries. I have stayed before in a bigger unit which was nice, but I don’t think I will book the smaller unit again.
