Views from the room was excellent, room was equipped with AI function. Provides a humidifier for the room as well which is great. Location of the hotel was atop a very steep hill which made climbing up and down a little inconvenient- they do offer a driver service but it is not available all the time- limited to certain hours and when there is another guest using the car then will need to wait. Service was not consistent- some staff were not very friendly but some staff provided amazing service: Staff 小周非常友善热情，旁晚临时问他想去湖边走走 他就马上安排了亲自载我去 让我在泸沽湖的最后一个傍晚能够在夕阳下体验湖边漫步，过后还及时来接我回去， 让我感觉非常感谢。 4月6号值晚班的柜台小姐也特别热情友善，很喜欢她 可是不知道她的名字。

My stay at Qianshanji Hotel was truly memorable. The room offers a direct view of Lugu Lake, and every moment feels like looking at a beautiful painting. Both the breakfast and afternoon tea were thoughtfully prepared, delicate, and generous in variety. The hotel facilities are very well equipped, and I was especially touched by the thoughtful details: bath balls, a carefully prepared care pack (with good-quality sanitary pads, makeup remover pads, facial towels, etc.), and even a bag of dried apples prepared for us to take home. When I arrived, I wasn’t feeling well. The front desk staff immediately offered me glucose and portable oxygen can. What truly warmed my heart was that when I developed a fever, they not only cooked porridge for me, but also prepared for my family as well. Although there is no elevator, which may be less convenient for elderly guests, the staff were always proactive and kind in helping to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. In the evening, I highly recommend going to the lawn in front of the hotel, you’ll be completely amazed by the breathtaking, star-filled sky :)

Another absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed. Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given. The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu. Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting lugu lake. Imagine waking up to the view of the lake and mountains. The hotel is also fairly new with beautiful deco and they have prepared many thoughtful things include disposable towels, disposable bath tub towel, free daily afternoon tea and a short photoshoot. The front desk staff 阿文was also very helpful. A couple of things I wished went better: - breakfast: selection was quite limited and mainly Chinese food. Was not an issue for me as I typically don’t take breakfast. - limited toilet paper: unfortunately my husband and I were down with food poisoning during the trip so the toilet paper quickly became a scarcity. - inconsistent temperature in the shower: the shower on my first night toggled between icy cold and steamy hot even without me adjusting the temperature. Overheard from other guests that they had the same issue as well. The hotel thankfully was able to fix it on my second night. - mattress was too hard, and it felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor… unfortunately the hotel didn’t have an option to add on a topper and it really affected my sleep quality during the two nights we were there. However, preference for a softer mattress is personal. Would have been nice if the hotel has toppers prepared for guests who prefer a softer bed. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and I’d recommend for anyone visiting lugu lake.

As part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

23年春天來過一次，三年多以後，又來這裏。 當年也是四處蒐集訊息，對比，避開各種廣告，從小x書的真實訊息裏篩選到，那時和這次都很滿意。 初春來的那一次特別冷，但是老闆把暖氣開得很旺盛，一進門就很暖，屋子裡很乾凈，實木的裝修，保養非常用心。 洗浴上也做得很棒，不僅僅是熱水充足，是熱得非常快+水特別的大，洗起來又暖，又省時。 早飯，不僅是“附帶服務”，是水果+蛋白質+各種主食的組合，主食好幾樣，副食還會隨着節日更換，昨天是大端午，特別有粽子。 下雨天，風景不如晴天時好，話很少的老闆，卻能給人提供非常非常詳細，踏實，靠譜的訊息，從如何玩，如何包車包船，到如何吃到本地特色，衹要你問，他告訴你的，不僅僅是省錢，省精力，更是最妥帖，細緻的安排。 和人相關的事，用最總是看起來太誇張，那麼用更嚴謹更一針見血更不留情面更不拐彎抹角更哈哈哈哈哈哈哈，更樸素的辦法告訴你，如果我遇見過一千個人，他一定排在前幾名細緻，周到，可信，專業，高責任心，有分寸感，有主動性的人裏。 所以前面贅述什麼早餐，洗浴，是為了説明白一件事——這是一個，處處用心，處處負責的最佳住所。 我不在乎其他更貴看起來更高端的旅店，因為人的需求其實本來就那麼多，出門在外，最希望得到的，其實是背井離鄉時，能安心，放心，放鬆的感覺。 注，如果你在看這篇評論，請記得查天氣，如果顯示多雲下雨，一定一定要帶厚長褲，合適的鞋襪，長袖和外套，而且多帶幾件。 這裏的洗衣機是有90度高温清洗+烘乾的，這點特別實用，還有外賣，葯店都不多，可以備一些簡單常用葯，感冒葯，過敏葯，一次性浴巾這些需要提前買好。 最後，你在網上看到所有關於瀘沽湖美麗的圖片，基本上都是真的，除非天氣不好，那會大不一樣。

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Probably the only place in Lugu lake where foreigners could stay. The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch. Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel) Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job. Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

I had a wonderful stay at 慕鱼, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lugu Lake. The hotel is tastefully designed, with every corner beautifully decorated and thoughtfully curated. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a lake-view room, and the room cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. The view is truly stunning — there is an unobstructed, direct view of Lugu Lake, and 蒗放码头 is located right in front of the hotel, making the location incredibly convenient. At night, I could see a sky full of stars directly from my room, which felt truly magical. Every detail in the room felt well considered and intentional. The room was also very comfortable in winter, with floor heating and a Dyson hair dryer, which made a huge difference during the colder days. During afternoon tea time, the hotel served a lovely afternoon tea set, and sitting in the backyard while enjoying the lake view became one of the most relaxing and memorable moments of my entire trip. Upon checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast to go and gifted me some souvenirs, which was a very warm and touching gesture. They also helped recommend a reliable driver who took me back to Dali in a comfortable 9-seater car, making the journey smooth and stress-free. The owner is a beautiful and kind lady, and her dog Lucky, an adorable corgi, is an absolute delight. The staff were all genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, 慕鱼 offers beautiful design, breathtaking views, thoughtful service, and a truly relaxing experience. I would absolutely love to return.

Lugu Lake Arabella was my best stay in Yunnan! My bf and I were stunt by the beautiful lake view Infront of us the time we check in. The room is very clean and tidy, the bed is so comfortable to sleep on. Although this hotel is up on a hill and slightly away from 大落水村， but they do provide transport to send and pick up us from there. You just have to WeChat them and tell them your location. They also provide us very delicious and warm breakfast every morning. There’s nothing more delightful than savouring a delicious breakfast while being surrounded by the stunning view of the lake. Even more, they provide us a free shooting session, with 3 complimentary retouched photos for each room, which made me and my friend a day. The photographer shooting skill was great, and we were very happy with our photos. Overall experience were great. I would strongly recommend this hotel to all friends who travel to Lugu lake.

I had a truly memorable and calming stay at Lugu Lake Baiyun Jinsu Inn (Ninglu Highway Branch). The location is absolutely stunning, with a direct lake view. Waking up to the sunrise over Lugu Lake was one of the highlights of the trip. The water is so still and peaceful, reflecting the morning light beautifully. It is one of those moments that makes everything feel worth it. What I loved most is the tranquil environment. You can hear roosters crowing and birds chirping in the morning. No city noise, just pure calm. It is the perfect place if you want to escape from the busy city life and truly unwind. The room is practical and comfortable. There is a washing machine (no dryer), but it wasn’t an issue at all. Clothes dry well overnight when hung up. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. Their hospitality really made the stay even more enjoyable. The inn also provides a simple breakfast and there is even a dessert served at night, which is a lovely and thoughtful touch. At first, I thought Lugu Lake might be too far from Lijiang. But after experiencing its beauty, I can confidently say: it’s absolutely worth the journey and I would love to come back again.
